This was a perfect tour for art and history lovers. First and foremost it was our tour guide Armand who made this a 5 star trip. He is an incredible human and everything you would want in a guide - informative, entertaining, kind, adaptable, attentive. We learned so much information about Frida, Diego, Mexico, indengious culture and pre-spanish culture. The 3 sites were amazing I cant stress enough what a hidden gem the Anahuacalli Museum dedicated to pre-spanish art and artifacts is. The architecture and design of the museum is incredible (I mean it is stunning and unique) the collection is amazing and many pieces are not behind glass so your ability to get close and study and photograph without glass or bartier between you and history is unique. Of course Frida's blue house is just a must and stunning and such a rare ability to see inside the home of an artist a home that represents her entire life and soul. Getting there was easy uber ride and once there we just relaxed as Armand took care of us. Highly recommend as navigating between 3 museums is a little stressful and blue house is always busy so just being able to walk up and in all museums without waiting in a line is such a benefit. I don't believe without our guide and the education he provided we would have appreciated each of the sites as much as we did at the end of our tour.

Our guide Nene (sp?) was brilliant! They were so much fun to chat with and knew so much about all three locations. Would definitely recommend them specifically. Anahuacalli is a treasure not to be missed.

Neene was our tour guide and she was wonderful -- great enthusiasm and full of insights about Frida, Diego, their art, and Diego's collection of relics. We could not have learned so much from just reading the explanations in the museums themselves. One particular tidbit -- that Diego had the nickname "Frog" or "Frog-Toad" was especially amusing to us. Over a year ago we got a pet frog and named him Diego in honor of Rivera but we actually did not know that Rivera himself was called or sometimes depicted as a frog! This tour was the highlight of our visit to Mexico city.

Neene' is the perfect guide. She is knowledgeable, charming, and made our tour such a memorable experience. she takes care of every detail, from the entrance fees to transportation between the sites. Visiting the Museo Casa Studio of Diego River & Frida Kahlo and Casa Azul had been on our bucket list for many years, but we were unfamiliar with the Anahuacalli Museum so were surprised that it was one of the highlights of the tour. I highly recommend this tour when visiting Mexico City!

Neene our guide was a fountain of knowledge. We started at the Estudio which is currently under restoration. Basic and underwhelming but helped set the stage for the main event. The Diego Rivera Museum was exceptional. A don’t miss stop. Great architecture and priceless indigenous antiquities. Final stop at Frida Kahlo museum. Crowded and one of the most popular museums in the city. If you don’t book tickets in advance you are likely out of luck. Very interesting treatment of her tortured life.
