What to expect:
Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera helped to define Mexican modernism while engaged in a tumultuous romance. On this Frida Kahlo Tour we’ll get a glimpse into the life of Mexican artists.
Our visit will take us to the Frida Kahlo Museum, or Casa Azul, her former abode and where many of her self-portraits were created. We will get a sense of how she once lived and worked. We’ll engage directly with her history as we surround ourselves by her artwork, her clothing, her photos, and even the prosthetics, and corsets she wore as a result of childhood polio and a horrifying train accident in 1925.

Neene, our guide was great!! Super nice and lots of info! She was very prepared.
The info on the tickets needs updated. Where they told us to meet did not exist, but Neene was prepared with a sign with our names.

The guide was knowledgeable but we have had better guides on other tours. It wasn’t too crowded which was good but the museum didn’t have many works by Frida now as there is a special exhibit about her life. We were disappointed by that and would wait until the paintings are back. The space is small so if it is crowded it would be unbearable.

Neene was an amazing tour guide. Our time with her was the highlight of our trip to Mexico! She was so knowledgeable about Frida Kahlo, and she made the tour fun as well as informative! I highly recommend Neene as a tour guide at Museo Frida Kahlo!!!

The guide Nene was great! You could feel the passion & knowledge for Frida throughout the tour. My wife and two sons (17 & 20) were delighted. Worth it!

Nene was knowledgeable and engaging! She was punctual and the meeting spot was easy to find. She went the extra mile to indicate a place where we could grab lunch! Would definitely hire her again.

Wonderful museum experienced with excellent guide. Learned a great deal more than I had known previously about Frida Kahlo. Felt like I was walking in her footsteps inside her home. Really got a great sense of her humanity and personal style. Such a remarkable artist and woman.

Not an English language tour, despite our confirmed booking. The guide was late and then a Spanish language only tour group jointed and they were even later. The guide focused on the Spanish speakers and we trailed behind. The guide was nice but it was hard to ask questions since the guide kept having to attend to the Spanish group and delivery of tour information was choppy. Seems like a good museum but we only got part of the story. Very disappointed. Do not recommend.
