What makes this experience unique is the fact that it is a very hands on, bespoke, personal and very knowledgeable workshop like no other in the country. Where you learn of the workings of a micro distillery, get to taste different spirit profiles, you also get to design and make your very own bottle of gin to take home with you after the class.

Brilliant fun!! Neil was amazing and the session was fantastic value. We were there for over four hours and had great fun with everyone and a lot of laughs!! The level of knowledge about the ingredients, gins, process and bar tender skills was incredible. I’m looking forward to trying the rum tour next!!

Me and my friends had an amazing time at the Gin School this past Sunday! We were lucky to nab some Itison vouchers earlier on in year, but we would happily pay full price for the experience again (which I definitely plan to come back for the Rum School) Neil was an absolute character! He couldn’t have been more friendly, or knowledgeable. We actually went over time, as we were having that much fun. I can’t wait for this weekend, so I can try out my own gin! I also love that they keep a hold of your recipe, so if you fancied another bottle, they can make it up for you to collect at your leisure. I couldn’t recommend this experience enough! It’s something different to do in central Edinburgh.

5/5! Absolutely delightful. Neil was absolutely fantastic (and handsome). I arrived as a very luke warm Gin fan and lifted as an enlightened enthusiast of Gin. This is a must see. Carve out some time on your itinerary when you holiday in Edinburgh.

What an experience, Neil is an absolute legend! He explained the intricacies so well and still allowed individual interpretation. Would highly recommend this and the small size of the group just added to the fun!

This was such an amazing and fun experience. Neil was so lively, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. I can't recommend this enough!! If you're in Edinburgh absolutely take a little bit of time to do this class.

This was a birthday gift from a friend to my husband, & from start to finish it was a fantastic experience. Our host for the night was Neil,& we could not have had a better host . Neil's knowledge of gins was exceptional, & talked us through the whole experience in a witty entertaining way.
I have attended wine, gin, & whisky experiences, & this is by far the best.

This was a gift from my daughter, Myself & Hubby attended yesterday 08 06 2024, what a fantastic experience, Neil our host was amazing he knew a lot about gin, there was only 1 other couple in the class with us and we learned some amazing tips about distilling gin, the white lady cocktail Neil made for us was brilliant, the class takes around 3 hours, we were there for 4 hours, Neil doesn't rush you out , Highly recommend

A wonderful experience! I received it as my girlfriend's birthday present and can summarise the experience as "wow". Neil was the perfect host and teacher, reflecting his passion for gin in his stories, anecdotes and fun facts. The best part was the creation of our bottle of gin. He guided us in choosing the ingredients and used his experience to balance them perfectly: the final result was a blast of flavour and aroma.
Definitely recommended!
