Ivan Valdivin was our guide and he was absolutely amazing. He was full of knowledge, fun, kept us engaged, and had an amazing pace/plan for the tour. It was very well run. Fernando was our photographer and he was excellent. He caught amazing moments on camera and his skills are top notch. I would recommend this tour to anyone! Ask for Ivan! You will not be disappointed

Nous avons vécu une superbe journée avec la visite du site archéologique de Tulum, d’une plongée avec les tortues ainsi qu’une découverte de cenote. Hamlet et Ivan ont été de très bons guides avec de très bonnes explications et le sentiment de famille s’est vraiment fait sentir : très agréable!
Le conducteur Felipe a aussi été très sympathique et nous avons compris dès le début que toute l’équipe était compétente et avait un grand cœur.

Amazing experience with our driver, Gonzalo Chavez photographer Alan Martinez and tour guide Daniel San Fransisco! They really made this solo traveler feel safe and like "en familia" throughout the entire time. Would highly recommend! They pick you up, take photos during the excursion, share tour information, and are super kind. Had some good laughs and felt super happy I did this! I only wish I had time to book another tour!

This was an excellent experience! Booking was easy and done online. Communication was great confirming booking and pick up from our hotel. Everything was on time.
Our guide Isreal was great! He was engaging, knowledgeable, funny, and provided a great historical account for all the areas of our visits.
Hector our driver was also really nice.
Tony our photographer captured some amazing shots of wife and I. He was also very nice, funny, and guided us well for the best shots.
Both my wife and I were thrilled with this experience.

Beautiful excursion, Alfredo our guide made us have a wonderful time. day and taught us a lot about the Mayan culture. The experience with the turtles was wonderful and the underground cenote incredible.

This was our first excursion for our trip out of many and honestly, it was so memorable. Pepe, Chucho And Fernando We’re amazing. We got some lovely photos to commemorate those memories. Pepe payed close attention to our son who was extremely eager to be in the water and we really enjoyed that. We felt safe the entire time he was also very humorous, personable and welcoming. Our group was fairly small which we also appreciated. The refreshments were definitely a highlight, especially the hot sauces. We would definitely recommend this activity to anyone with or without children. Thank you again Pepe and team y’all were amazing.

My family and I went on a full day private tour that began at 8:00AM and ended around 5:00PM. The private tours are the way to go, and are much more affordable than you might think. I would suggest at least taking a look at it. I don't never actually write reviews, but I liked our crew so much that I'm writing this to help them. So here is the story.
Ocean Tours sent a team to pick us up at our resort. They arrived right on time, they were organized and ready to start the day. We had our tour guide Erik Chow, our photographer Ismile, and our driver Juan Carlos. These guys were the best that we could hope for. As the day continued on they just became part of the family and the tour became more and more fun. We stayed in the Riviera Maya for six nights and this day was the highlight for everyone.
You will start the day at the Tulum Ruins and it's hot in the summer months so start early in the morning if you are going in the summer. You can put sunscreen and bug repellent on for this part. The team is very considerate. Juan brought umbrellas for everyone to keep the intense sun off of us and stocked the van with refreshments. While Eric is sure to keep you aware of what is happening now, and what is going to happen next. This part of the tour is all about Mayan history and Erik has a lot of interesting knowledge to share. The views here of the Mayan structures spread along the bluffs of the Caribbean Sea are incredible.
Next is the Akumal turtle swimming which is another fantastic event. At this point you can no longer use sunscreen and bug spray. We were lucky, we saw so many turtles and fish snorkeling that day. Erik, Ismile, and one of the park guides came with us into the water. Ismile took amazing pictures of the family during the entire activity and Erik guided the way through the event. We all made it through and had a wonderful time.
After the turtles we went to the zip-line. Erik and the park guides helped with this. I have to admit that at first I was not so sure about the zip-line. There are two zip-lines, one down and one back (you just go down and then get on another zip-line and come right back), the zip-lines are around 100 feet in the air when you step off the platform. In the end I found it to be fun. Erik guided us through the process and Ismile took some great photos.
The last step was repelling down into the cenote. Here you repel about 40 feet down through a hole in the ground into a massive underground pool of water. This is kind of intimidating too, but once again Erik's experience gave everyone enough confidence, and everyone in our group went down the rope. The cavern is enormous so you don't have any issues of small spaces. It's a fantastic experience to swim around in the cenote. We swam around for awhile, did some cannon balls off the dock, took some photos, and then exited for a taco lunch in the jungle. That was the last event of the tour.
We all had a great time on the tour. If the team reads this, thank you again for the care and dedication you put into providing my family a fantastic experience. We purchased the photo package and I'm glad we did because the photos are awesome. To summarize it all, if you go on this private tour and you get this crew you are going to have the best time.
