I absolutely loved this trip! Hamlet, Pamela and Miguel were wonderful and Hamlet was really knowledgeable about EVERYTHING! Since we were a group of five, we basically had a private tour complete with a comfortable bus w/ AC and snacks throughout. Hamlet shared knowledge about the local culture, histories, and peoples who make the Yucutan home, as well as enlightening us with a lot of geology, physics, and biological facts to give broader context.
We also loved that we were able to hire Pamela on-the-spot as our photographer for the day - she captured some amazing photos of us snorkeling and in the cenote. Well worth the price as she was able to focus on pics, leaving us to enjoy the experience together w/out our phones.
Hamlet was kind and looked out for us throughout the day, especially when we were swimming. The swimming and walking were definitely beginner-level, so anyone can participate, but Hamlet took care to remind us that water is dangerous and the currents can be strong. I felt totally safe and comfortable in every situation, including driving w/ Miguel at the wheel, and would do this entire journey again in a heartbeat!
Our trio of guides were amazing and the trip was a blast! I will definitely seek this company out again when I'm back in the area.

Awesome excursion! Our guide was super knowledgeable and amazing with the kids. The ruins and the cenote were absolutely unforgettable and worth every second. Skip the snorkeling and go to Cozumel.

Great time! A little late but our tour guide made up for it. The snorkeling was fun and well organized as well as Cenote caves. Overall it was a fun trip but make sure you are ready it is a long day, I do not suggest for younger kids but older kids (10 and above) had a blast.

Company communicated promptly and clearly. Provided snacks and water bottles. Clear communication from the guides in good English. Meal wasn’t show stopping but welcome after the activities. Cenote was different than expected but a great experience. Overall a very good trip. It is definitely an all-day affair time-wise.

My party of 7 was left feeling like the experience was not worth the expense. The Viator and Ocean tours company were flexible with our booking plans considering the horribly wet weather. We adjusted our date and party size smoothly. I checked in with them the day before because of the tropical storm to learn the snorkel portion would be canceled.
“hello, thank you for asking, tomorrow we will go ahead with the tour just the snorkel in reef will be substituted by snorkel in a cenote, Tulum visit will be extended and the cenote and lunch will be two cenotes plus lunch”
The original itinerary on Viator states - 1 hour 30 minutes at the Tulum site and 3 hours at the Cenote.
After the long walk into the site we spent approximately 45 minutes exploring and learning about the ruins. There was much more to see, but we had to leave and then we’re given 15 minutes to explore the market near the drop off area (would have preferred that time at the site).
At the Cenote, we spent approximately 25 minutes actually in the water of the cave ( the most amazing part for sure) and again there were sections of the site that others saw and we did not. The rest of the time was reserved for changing clothes, eating, waiting, then watching an upsell presentation of photos their photographer shot of the activity. Honestly we would have preferred to spend less time posing for their camera - we stopped multiple times to do staged photos - and more time experiencing these wonders. After lunch there was another 20minute session where you watched a slideshow of the photos and were asked to pay for them if you wanted copies. We spent over $900 for the excursion and another $100 for pictures, plus 8 hours of our day for about 1.5 hours of experience. There was NO 2nd Cenote Experience! as the operator had shared the previous day (through text messages) and our guide only said that I would have to take that up with the tour operator - his itinerary was set. Our 3 in 1 was really just 2 in 1 and we all left feeling underwhelmed.
I shared this review w/ Ocean tours and they were disappointed that the alternative activity did not meet my expectations. I asked what the alternative activity was - they never responded.

Emmanuel was a great host and you could tell this tour group knows what they're doing. Great activities through out - the only feedback I have is to be more explicit that the snorkel portion may include a boat ride into the portion where you view the wildlife. It was a super choppy day since it had been raining all week before we got there, and I would have brought my motion sickness meds had I known.
The tour itself was great - learned a lot and lunch was yummy + felt really authentic. Great family tour.
