Visit the fascinating Montserrat Natural Park and Monastery. We will enjoy a walk through the Mediterranean vegetation characterized by dense oak tree forest, boxwood bushes, and aromatic plants growing in the open meadows. We will tickle our sense of smell with wild rosemary, thyme, and lavender growing freely along the path. If we are lucky, we may spot the iconic wild goat of Montserrat confidently walking on the steep edges of the conglomerate rock. We will observe other animal tracks and signs of local fauna. We will visit the Basilica which hosts Saint Mary Virgin also called Black Madonna. At the end of our visit to Montserrat we will taste some locally produced cheeses and fig bread.

A most pleasant experience that we had the pleasure of making during our stay in Barcelona. Stepan, our guide, created a friendly atmosphere in our group. Monserrat is a very beautiful and peaceful place to visit. We really enjoyed our hike there. Our guide, Stepan, was very professional, patient, knowledgeable and detailed during our tour. The vehicle was very clean and he was a great driver. He also had great recommendations.

Foivos is an EXCELLENT guide- The night before, he sent a message prior to the trip to ensure I had everything prepared for the day trip (sunscreen, hat, jacket, snacks, water, etc). He is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He took us on a gorgeous hike and explained key historic features of Montserrat , I learned a lot, got a great workout and enjoyed the gorgeous 180 views of nature. I HIGHLY recommend booking this tour with Foivos, it was the highlight of my Barcelona trip!

My wife and I really enjoyed our outdoor adventure with Estephan, exploring and hiking the scenic views of Montserrat and monastery. It was a wonderful experience and would likely to do it again when we come back to visit Barcelona in the future.

Stefan was very professional, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. Started the tour on time, explained all historical places and context, and patiently answered all our questions. He brought water bottles for us, offered us local tangerines and told the significance behind them. I would highly recommend to take his tour and you would enjoy every minute with him !
