Inside the Valley there are twelve temples as well as some fortifications, the Lower Agora and the Upper Agora, an Olympeion and a Bouleuterion. A source of inspiration for poets, philosophers and painters, it is undoubtedly one of the most emblematic parks in Sicily.
Our guide will lead you to discover this place where time seems to have stopped, preserving an unprecedented historical charm. The tour will start from the temple of Hera, continuing on the sacred way up to the remains of the surrounding wall. You will continue with a visit to the Temple of Concordia, the remains of the early Christian necropolis, the Temple of Heracles and the remains of the temple of Zeus.

Mario was an excellent guide, knowledgeable & articulate.
The expanse and scale of the temples was breathtaking, especially the state of preservation of the temple of Concordia when you consider it was built 500BC.

Great tour. It was a bit hot but “the best part of the sun is the shade”! The headphones really helped. We could easily hear our guide and she was able to round us up

The tour was excellent. The tour gave a solid foundation about the Valley. I would recommend this tour guide to everyone. The tour guide was absolutely wonderful, knowledgable and well read. She was exceptional.

We had a great time exploring the Valley of the Temples. Our tour guide Liz Garcia was amazing, very informative and explained in both languages as well as giving us time to take photos and take in the culture.
Then, once we had made it to the end of the tour we were given time to explore the rest as well as being able to travel back up to the meeting point by a buggy ride for 3 euros per person.
Would definitely recommend!

Our guide Rosa showed up 15 minutes late; (one couple had already left to join another group) even though the tour clearly stipulated to arrive early
It was also totally unclear which of the many entrances the tour departed from, plus if it was possible to easily park at said entrance ( it’s the top of the hill entrance)
The tour itself was ok, but I can’t highly recommend! Agrigento itself was fabulous and memorable!

Guide was 20 minutes late. He also took on another language group delaying the whole process. His explanation of the monuments was afequuate.

Not a great tour. No detailed information on where meeting point was. We did not know which parking lot or entrance. Therefore we were late. No information that tour would be in English and Italian. No head sets to hear information about what we where seeing
