My measures are: 1) ease of access to and from public or private ground transportation: 4.0; 2) convenient parking when having to leave vehicle or dropping off: 3.0; 3) access and convenience of retrieving and dropping off rental vehicles: 3.5; 4) atmosphere, ambience, public facilities, seating areas and access to communications, charging and Wi-Fi: 4.5; 5) overall human customer service – including but not limited to ticket counter, Hospitality, Retail, Support Services, Restaurant and Baggage Handler knowledge, communication, staff attitude and demeanor: 3.5; 6) ease of flight information access throughout facility via signage, boards, screens or clear understandable PA system announcements: 4.5; 7) distance, maneuverability, access and convenience of trekking from gate to gate and/or concourse to concourse for connecting flights: 3.5; 8) quantity, value, convenience, quality and comfort of eateries and/or retailers: 4.5; and last, but not least 9) baggage handling, claims and retrieval location, process and lost and found assistance: 3.0. Taking all the categories, I've devised a scale of 1 to 5 with 1 being the worst and 5 being the best an airport can be! This airport rates a: 4.25, not bad! Most positive point(s) at this airport are: very service-oriented store associates; clean and convenient concourses to maneuver with luggage; and variety of eats available. The most negative points here are: its distance to CDMX center; it’s duty free offerings are no discounts to in city purchases. Special note: watch out for taxi or driver hustling at the stands on exiting airport.

Shuttle driver arrived on time, he was courteous and helpful with luggage. The vehicle was clean and well-maintained, lots of room for our luggage and it was a comfortable ride to the airport. I would recommend Viatour for travel needs.

Two hours immigration line. Total disaster. Many hundreds of travelers and like three immigration people working. Total disaster. It’s been like this the last couple of years. Shameful waste of visitors’ time. Get your act together Amlo!

If you were tempted by the cost to arrive at this airport , no matter was is your final destination, note that the airport is basically a ghost town and there are minimal services, stores, restaurants etc but the main issue is transportation , there are no trains, subway, very scarce bus service to very limited areas, and with that come the abuse an corruption of taxis and rental car agencies. Uber no, is too dangerous that not even uber comes.
