Nicholas was so knowledgeable and friendly. A great time was had by all. The food at the restaurant was delicious. We swam in the water at bottom of waterfall

Nicholas was our tour guide. He’s very fluent in multiple languages. Very knowledgeable about the area. Took us on this lovely hike and scenery was beautiful!

I had an amazing day with Safari Crete Excursions, exploring the Richtis Gorge day, seeing the oldest Olive tree in the world, lunch in a traditional Crete restaurant with a breathtaking view. Our exceptional driver and guide, Nikos, made the day truly unforgettable. He is a beautiful human with an incredible heart, passionate about nature, and reminded us of how lucky we are to be surrounded by such a rich environment. Nikos's knowledge of plants is truly remarkable and added immense value to the experience. His kindness and big heart are beyond words. I commend him for his exceptional service. I had a fantastic day and will definitely recommend it to others. Thank you, Nikos, for being a fantastic soul. Merci!

Our guide Georgios was friendly. The Richtis Gorge was a highlight of the trip. Lunch in a typical tavern was also very tasty and plentiful.
Unfortunately we didn't go to the Faneromeni cave monastery. Instead, our guide headed to the Panagia i Kera church near Kritsa, which is closed on Tuesdays.

Highly recommend this tour! The entire day was magical, from pick up at our hotel to the late lunch at the best taverna. Richtis Gorge was a great hike. Christos was the perfect guide, making sure that we saw everything we wanted to. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

We are a family of 4 from Scotland. Took this amazing tour with Nikos as our guide. Truly wonderful and he was very flexible in accommodating our day. Stopped at the Gorge of Ha on the way to the old Olive tree and Minoan ruins and then onto Gorge of Richtis. The walk in to Richtis is amazing and the swim was amazing in a truly other worldly setting. Nikos was a very informative guide who gave us a great insight into Cretan culture and also nature and all the different varieties of herbs and flowers, many of which were hand picked as we went to the various places. Amazing experience and we all enjoyed seeing a side of Crete that we didn’t know existed. The scenery and derive along the coast road from Elounda / Agios Nikolaos is truly amazing. What a great day and what a beautiful island. Thoroughly recommend this trip and this company and especially Nikos.

We had a wonderful day hiking with our guide, Danny. Richtis Gorge and the waterfall was one of the highlights of our trip! It was a great hike and a very refreshing swim! We also appreciated that he offered us the option of skipping the monestary in favour of going to the Golden Beach for another beautiful swim! The lunch provided at the taverna was delicious too! One of the best meals of our trip! I gave this review 4 out of 5 stars (instead of 5 out of 5) just because our guide didn't give us a lot of information on the places we stopped at. For example, we went to the ancient olive tree and an archeology site but he didn't tell us anything about it. We just took some photos and left. Otherwise the tour was great!

This was our second tour with Safari Crete Experience and it was Great. We saw everything on the itinerary except the monastery which the group decided to skip in favour of thol os beach. Nikolas was a great guide and did not rush us at all. He was very knowledgeable about flora and fauna and we also tried wild figs, cocoa beans and many wild herbs. It was a great day. Lunch was a greek feast with ample food and wine. Thoroughly recommend this tour and tour company. We were a party of two and there were two other guests on the tour as well. 4WD was very comfortable and clean as well.

Was looking forward to this trip greatly. Enjoyed walk through Richtis gorge. Beautiful. Also loved seeing the Minoan settlement and the 3000 year old Olive Tree. My disappointment is that the leaflet advertising this trip said we would also visit village of Tourloti and Monastery of Faneromeni. This did not happen.
