Travel to stunning Capri by fast ferry(not private boat) after met the guide. Wind along the famous Mamma Mia cliffside road, where you can snap some photos of a lifetime. Weather permitting,you will enter , by small boat, into the exquisite Blue Grotto, or Grotta Azzurra, to marvel at the glowing bluewater. The large cavern can only be reached by small boat through a narrow opening. Ride the chairlift from Anacapri to the peak of Monte Solaro to soak up spectacular views of the entire island. If you’re lucky, you will spot Mt. Vesuvius and Ischia Procida islands on the horizon.
Afterwards, visit the beautiful Villa San Michele and its lush gardens. During your wanders, you will spot ancient artefacts nestled in the flora and fauna. Follow this with a visit to La Piazzetta, a quaint square lined with boutiques and cafes.
Finally, visit the fabulous Augustus Gardens, where you can enjoy breath-taking views .

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Marina Grande
Main port of Capri that you will reach from Naples or Sorrento by ferry . Ferry takes 50/60 minutes. ( if you already stay in Capri , your tour starts at the lobby and lasts 6 hours instead of 8)
2. Blue Grotto
By convertible car or a shuttle bus (depends on your group number) reach The Blue Grotto , as your first stop ( weather permitting , otherwise a sharing boat ride tour around the island will be included) .The cave will leave you speechless. Lying on board a small boat you will enter inside the entrance of the cave is about one meter high. Its blue water reflects on the rock creating a splendid effect.
3. Anacapri
Anacapri is the second stop of this day tour, a more peaceful place than Capri. Here you will also stop for lunch.
4. Monte Solaro
From Mount Solaro you can enjoy the most beautiful view of Capri. In Ancapri , Get on the chair lift and admire the landscape below with the Gulf of Naples and the Vesuvius in front.
5. Piazza Umberto I
Piazza Umberto I is better known as the "Piazzetta". Sitting at a bar table you can enjoy an aperitif or a good Neapolitan espresso and maybe find yourself sitting next to a celebrity.
6. Giardini di Augusto
The Gardens of Augustus are a must to admire the symbol of the island of Capri, the rocks Faragioni. Follow your guide in a walking tour of the Gardens.
7. Marina Grande
Here you will catch your ferry back to Naples or Sorrento. Ferry takes 50/60 minutes . ( if you already stay in Capri , your tour ends at your hotel )

Anna Maria was exceptional, knowledgeable, funny and had all the insider information. We skipped lines and one person in our party of 8 didn’t want to do the chairlift so she created a different itinerary for her. We were able to skip the line for the blue grotto which was the highlight of the tour.

Anna María was five stars. She lives on the island and her family has rich history there. Tailored our tour to the right amount of time for my daughter Nina. Great to start early to beat the heat, we were able to get to the Blue Grotto to beat the crowds and she knows where to shop and why. Insider treatment for sure. Secured a great table for lunch. We loved every minute and Ana Maria was fabulous.

This was an amazing trip. Our guide Marcella worked so hard so we could see everything. The blue grotto was beautiful as was capri and Sorrento. We were on so many modes of transportation as we got every where we needed to go. It was amazing !

Our fabulous guide Luigi treated us like family, showing us all parts of the island. We weren’t blessed with conditions to enter the blue grotto, but the boat ride around the island made up for it. Bonus…no wait for the chairlift!! It’s a must…

Book this tour - you will absolutely love it! Tiziana was our guide and she was kind, funny, and so happy to take the day at our pace and let us stop for photos and in as many shops as we wanted. She also recommended a fantastic lunch restaurant that served the best baccalà I have ever had. Visiting the island with the tour also helped us skip the line to visiting the Blue Grotto, so we did not have to waste hours in line. The private driver, also included, had a convertible (which was so fun!) and helped us cover so much ground so we were able to visit so many sites in just one day. This tour and Capri were an absolute highlight of my trip to Italy. I hope to be able to go back again one day.

Lucia was awesome!
We had a limited time for this trip as we were on a cruise. She was able to help us maximize our time and got us off our ferry and to the Blue Grotto quickly.
Lucia recommended a wonderful restaurant for lunch. The views from the restaurant were phenomenal and the food excellent!
I highly recommend this tour and Lucia as a guide.
We can’t wait return.

Our guide Paula (possibly Paola) met us at the port in Sorrento and guided us expertly from there. Her English was excellent and she knew where to go and when, from the best time and route to get to the Blue Grotto, to where and when to eat and shop, to take the chairlift, see the Gardens of Augutus, ride the funicular. The views were beautiful, and she obviously knew the Island super well. Capri was a highlight of our trip, very much thanks to our guide.

Giorgio was the perfect tour guide! He was so knowledgeable and passionate about Capri and Italy in general. We had two seniors, two middle aged, and one teenager in our group and he made it fun and informative for all of us.
He really took care to adjust to our needs and show us everything we wanted to see. He even recommended a great restaurant for lunch. We would highly recommend Giorgio for your next tour!
