We had a wonderful day trip to Luray Caverns and Shenandoah. The caverns were stunning, and the scenic views in Shenandoah were breathtaking. Special thanks to our tour guide, Galen, who was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Luray caverns was very beautiful however the guide did not explain anything in the tour. The viewpoints in Shenandoah stopped also was not that great. Too much extra charge was taken for the guide although nothing was guided.

We were massively overcharged compared to the original ticket price. The original ticket price was 34 USD, but I was charged 50 USD. This is kind of fraud or unethical. The guide did not accompany us anywhere, neither in the cave nor in the shenandoah trails. I would not recommend this to anyone with viator. Better go by your own, you won't spoil your money.

Our guide Galen was brilliant, very friendly and helpful throughout the entire trip. The Luray Caverns were spectacular. This is also the stop for lunch, but the cafe there isn't great and if you're vegetarian your options are very limited (I took lunch with me as its an issue I'm familiar with!). It was very cloudy for most of the time we were in the National Park, though we did get a break in the weather towards the end of our time there to enjoy some of the amazing views. It was a long day from DC, about 10 hours total, but great to explore outside the city. Would recommend!

This attraction exceeded our expectations. The natural beauty of the caverns is preserved as much as possible while making the site very accessible and comfortable to visit. The additional attractions covered by your admission ticket make this a great way to spend a whole day. The Car and Carriage Caravan collection was absolutely stunning. It was busy but not overly crowded. I imagine it would be a different experience in the high season.

The Luray Caverns were beautiful, but very full of people who have not appreciated this natural wonder. Also the skyline drive is definitely worth a visit, but I would have liked it if the tour guide had also given us some background information.
Moreover our tour guide Gerry wasn't well organizied. At the beginning of the tour, he does not give really instructions about our day plan and besides, his English wasn't necessarily the best. Moreover, he didn't tell the whole group the departure time after the caverns, which had the effect that we had to wait about 30 minutes in the van until the last persons came out of the caverns. In addition he doesn't show us a really good hiking path. It was just a way up and down with nothing to see.

The caverns are truly a treasure and we had a perfect amount of time there. Following that, our guide took us on a great tour of the Shenandoah National Park, with many stops to view the scenery and experience a hike. The day was wonderful and I recommend the tour. Our guide, Gary, was kind and took many pictures of us on our phones—he’s an exceptional photographer so they turned out great. One hitch was that a couple returned 35 minutes late to the bus at one stop—Gary made sure we didn’t lose any tour time, which I very much appreciated (so we got back to DC a bit later than planned).
