Barrio La Candelaria
In this experience you will discover the unique flavors of the different Colombian regions. We will go to 7 places in total within the La Candelaria neighborhood and sample a variety of traditional foods. We will visit multiple family-owned businesses to try authentic dishes and interact with locals. In a single afternoon, you will be able to learn more about the Colombian culture through its food and history. This tour is accomodating for both vegetarian and vegan preferences , please just let your guide know. We will eat plenty of samples over the course of the tour so please make sure you come hungry!

**Please make sure you bring good walking shoes, an umbrella, and water. Make sure you give yourself enough time with the traffic to arrive at the starting point.**

Lorenzo led the best food tour ever!!! We tasted so many traditional dishes I am still full from all the eating. While we were on the tour he gave us incredible facts and history about Bogota and the areas we walked in. I felt safe with his guidance and overall rate this tour a 10/10!!

Lorenzo was a fantastic guide who not only informed us on the food we were eating and the region they came from, he was also very knowledgeable on Bogota’s history and the meaning of tge street art paintings. The food portions were extremely generous and everything we tasted was something local we would likely not have tasted otherwise. It is worth every penny!

This was a fantastic way to get to know the city and the cuisine of Columbia. I loved that we got to try foods from several different regions. Lorenzo was great, very eager to answer questions and show us his favorite spots. Would definitely tour with him again!

Laurenzo was excellent. Lots of great food and fun experience. Lasted just over three hours and wasn’t physically demanding. Highly recommended.

Okay this was one of the best food tours I’ve been on. Not only was our guide Nick a fantastic host, but he was very friendly and made the experience a blast. Every dish as interesting and tasty, my fave was the Tolima “Tamale” adjacent creature. It was delicious!

Great tour! Initially a little doubtful as I’d already sampled Colombian food during my first 2 weeks of travel. However pleasantly surprised; great guide, great tasting, great group.

Lorenzo was an amazing guide for my first day in Colombia. Very glad I did this tour. The food was excellent and he was super knowledgeable as a native Bogotan. He gave us lots of interesting anthropological and historical information as well as educated us on the local murals. It was like 3 tours in one! Very good value. Thank you Lorenzo
