We will explore walking by the historical center of Bogota and discuss its social and political history as a capital city. We will learn about Bogotazo and the pre-Colombian ancient cultures, as well as gastronomy and nature unique to Colombia. We will try dishes from many regions of the country. This tour gives you an opportunity to interact with locals and culture through food, history and museums, as well as support local and family-owned businesses. Guests will have the choice between visiting the Gold Museum or the Botero Museum. Welcome and enjoy.

Nick, our guide, was absolutely amazing! He is simply a wealth of knowledge, gregarious, and patient. He was happy to answer any and all questions, even if they weren’t specifically related to the tour. We also covered a lot of ground—completely on foot! It's shocking how much we were able to fit into 7 hours. You really get a lot of bang for your buck: the fee covers the cable ride; coffee tasting in candelaria; entry into Museo del Oro; and several rounds of taste-testing (fruit, street snacks, etc) of Colombian cuisine. I definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants to learn more about Bogotá.

I was a little skeptical at first but this tour turned out to be absolutely fantastic. The guide was very friendly and helpful and we covered a lot of ground in Bogota. I would definitely recommend!!

What a great tour! From going up to Montserrate to experience the great views, to walking the colorful streets to sampling delicious food, our guide (Milena) expertly showed us the area and gave us great tips and recommendations. I would recommend to anyone looking to introduce themselves to this great city!

July, our tour guide was really great and goes the extra mile to bring us experience more that is not included in our tour. Tour experience is wonderful and we did not feel bored or tired during the 6-7hours tour which is all by foot. We get to explore many places and know many history about bogota and Colombia. We personally highly recommend booking this tour when you’re in Bogota.

We had an amazing time. Gabriela went above and beyond. She’s very knowledgeable and funny. We learned a lot about Bogotá’s history and ate really good food. I recommend this tour 100% to anyone who enjoys walking, eating and having fun.
