A Mountain biking / E-bike Tour into the wilderness of Cretan nature. We ride through a great selection of trails with stunning views and the most amazing natural diversity.
We reach the gorges of Margarites and Eleftherna in lush green trails along the rivers and the forests of Milopotamos valley and Psiloritis mountain range.
The ride with our up-scaled, full suspension e-bikes is super comfortable, effortless and safe.
Local guide with vast knowledge and experience will always help and advise on the handling of the unique Cretan terrain.
We visit small traditional villages, ancient settlements, and Minoan trails.
A quick refreshing break for drinks and tasty local snacks is rewarding us at the peak point.
The route is mostly off road in moderate level tracks. Basic control of bicycle is required and experience in handling dirt tracks is recommended.

Awesome bikes, extremely nice people and an awesome selection of routes. The first was so good we went back again for a second ride. My dad and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Will be back again!

This was one of the best experiences me and my new husband have had so far!
We were a difficult couple to suit as I am a very nervous inexperienced biker and my husband is confident and experienced. Both of us were catered for perfectly, my husband got to ride a challenging trail whilst I got one to one tuition and help to ride the same trail safely from Manos and Gina. It was such a fantastic experience, we felt so safe and welcomed. I would honestly highly recommend this to both experienced and brand new mountain bikers and everyone wanting to take in breath taking views. The food and drink stop was fantastic and we were sent awesome photos afterwards. Thanks joyride.bike! Made our holiday!

Fabulous views, great quality bikes! It was a lovely ride through olive groves, orange groves, along gorges, through small villages…We stopped for a smoothie and pastry in village- very picturesque. Some challenging parts with gravel etc, but it fun and very doable, as an active family with plenty of biking experience, but not technical mountain biking experience. Plenty of helpful instruction when needed.

Really fun day out with Manos and Gina. Manos adjusted the ride to our experience, and we got some nice off road hills and climbs in without going too much beyond our skill level. The e-MTB were a charm, and easily supported you uphill when you needed it. We stopped at a nice cafe for Greek coffee and goat icecream, then had a lunch which had some of the best food and Raki of our Crete trip. Awesome ride, and my girlfriend and I are already planning our next mountain bike trip.

Quite a variety of scenery, the guide was quite knowledgeable of the views and the history of the place, the route was nice, you have the choice of an easy path or an exciting one, I do recommend an e-bike as some hills are quite steep, but very very fun, there is also a chance for you to have a nice local meal in the way, all in all great!!! In August it’s quite sunny and hot, so bring plenty of water and sunscreen!

Very friendly guide and attentive to the way you ride.
Nice little break in a local orchard for a tasting of loquats before discovering this magnificent natural park of Eleftherna.
It smelled good of thyme when crossing the gorges via the many singeltracks that cross this "garden" of aromatic herbs.
An experience to repeat without hesitation.

I’ve done 9 cycling holidays and done numerous cycling tours in other countries too, yet this was my worst experience-a huge disappointment. I wouldn’t recommend doing this tour if you’re not comfortable with big, long gravel stretches. Sadly there also wasn’t any explanation of what we were seeing or of the culture, and I was made to feel bad for being the slowest, despite doing my best. I think Manos is better with experienced mountain bikers than people who are more used to road cycling. Still, the cafe stop in Bali was beautiful and incredibly scenic, and you could see that Manos put a lot of work into maintaining his bikes.

What an awesome experience seeing hidden places in Crete with our guide Manos. Not having experience riding off road, Manos was very a very patient teacher. Although a bit intimidated initially (71 year old female) confidence grew over the 40 kilometers with the instruction given by our guide and coming to trust the capabilities of the fabulous Mtn bikes provided by Joyride. Adding to our experience was a delicious lunch at a restaurant on the side of Lake Kournas as well as the fun company of a woman from Portland and our guide Manos. This was a definite highlight of our two+ weeks on Crete.
