This is not just a tour of Grand Canyon...this is a life-changing experience centered around reconnecting with the great outdoors. Join me in witnessing the natural world in a way that you have never experienced before.

Our time together will be spent on the South Rim of Grand Canyon, hiking the beautiful Kaibab Trail to Cedar Ridge for lunch. We will cover about 5 miles in total, 3 of which will be on the Kaibab Trail after a 1-mile warmup walk to the trailhead.

This is an amazing, family-friendly way to be introduced to Grand Canyon in a safe and controlled manner. We will take our time getting out of the Canyon and take as many breaks as needed (or wanted)...this is not an endurance event and in the summer we are regularly faced with 100F+ temps. We will be making several stops along the way, including "Ooh-Ahh Point" for a snack and photo break.

Evan's experiences working for the Civilian Conservation Corps and specifically on the trails in the Grand Canyon make him an Expert on all aspects of this Adventure.
As soon as we met him at our hotel in Tusayan, his big smile and outgoing personality made us feel instantly comfortable and eager to begin our exploration.
Our first stop was at the rim overlooking the Awesomeness of the Grand Canyon, I quickly asked Evan to take a picture of us with my cell phone and he replied, "Due to covid, I will be happy to take all photos of you with my cell phone and post them on my website." At every turn, Evan was two steps ahead of us (literally and figuratively) showing extreme caution and concern for our well being and safety.
This was our second time visiting the Canyon, both of us had visited when we were young children and did not remember that you travel through a forest to reach the rim. Along the way, Evan pointed out specific trees and showed us how and where the topography changed. He really gave us a heightened appreciation of all of the Beauty and Splendor that Nature provides.
We hiked part way down Bright Angel trail and Evan took many excellent candid photos that look great on his website. He also provided many suggestions of other trails and sights that all proved to be extraordinary.
