River trek to a serene and secluded water pool and be astounded by a hidden canyon leading to a beautiful waterfall. Marvel at the stunning towering volcanic rock cliffs uniquely sculpted by the passing of the river and admire a majestic mountain at a distance completing this picture-perfect setting. Finally, explore the area and find petroglyphs carved into rocks centuries ago by our Taino ancestors and sense the connection they had with nature.
This is a challenging tour that requires a certain degree of physical fitness, balance, river trekking skills and basic swimming skills. Closed sturdy water hiking shoes are required.

This adventure certainly did not disappoint! Yamile is a wonderful tour guide who knows the most beautiful off the beaten path areas of Puerto Rico. She is so good at what she does that this was the second tour we took with her. When we were planning this trip, we had so much fun a few years back on the first excursion with her that we planned this trip to Puerto Rico around Utuado Canyon and so happy we did. The scenery was gorgeous and the waterfall at the end was amazing and worth the effort! Yamile does all she can to ensure that you have a great, safe and fun day. Plus she takes the best pictures and lots of them. Although you will be tired at the end after a full day of strenuous adventure, this is an excursion you won't regret booking!

Utado canyon is a breathtaking natural marvel! This tour is not offered by many other tour companies. Yamille, the owner and operator of Puerto Rico as a local not only provides a very unique tour, but also provides excellent customer service with a personal touch. Overall value, an adrenaline packed day, and beautiful pictures are the norm with Yamille. This was not our first tour with Yamille, but it was our third and we highly recommend her for a truly magical experience!

This tour was an AMAZING experience! Yamile is an incredible tour guide that brings a tremendous amount of local knowledge, fun, and energy to the experience. I have visited National Parks all over the USA, as well as tours, and this experience ranks in my top 5. Canon Blanco is a beautiful area that contains hiking and swimming hole experiences that are second to none. However, it's not a place to visit without an experienced guide. Yamile took us to places (i.e. waterfalls, petroglyphs, etc.) that we would never have safely found ourselves. The water during our experience was a little murky and slightly rough after 2-3 days of rain but we felt safe having a guide that knows the terrain and the lay of the land. We were able to focus on having a good time knowing that Yamile had our backs all the time.
Yamile is a travel professional that focuses on every detail (i.e. safe ride, super clean van, safety, fun, travel tips). You cannot go wrong with this tour. I look forward to trying other adventures with this company when we return.

I could not recommend her enough. If you are booking a tour, you have to go with her!

Wonderful experience, like no other and I consider myself a local too. Yamile is an excellent guide and makes you feel like you're withfamily. We were able to go to some amazing hidden gems. Safety and us having fun was her main goal. The beautiful hidden waterfall was the best.. can't wait to tour again.. Thanks Camille

Everything about this tour was amazing!
Yamile was the best guide I could ever have asked for. Not only was she sweet but she was funny and gave us a great history of Puerto Rico. I felt safe the entire time.
All parts of the tour offered something different but all were amazing!
The canyon is breathtaking and she knew the best spots for pictures and views.
I highly recommend this tour and want to come back to do another one with Yamile bc she is the best!!!

Yamile is an excellent host/guide/human being, kept us super safe without limiting our ability to explore her "backyard"! The day was amazing, filled with physical challenge, stunning scenery, important history and cultural information that made the trip interesting and fun beyond the natural beauty. My boys (ages 10 and 12) experienced something different than anything they've ever seen before. We left truly feeling like part of the "family" and have memories we'll treasure forever!

It's a great experience and was unlike anything I've done before. The rock formations and carvings are super unique, and the waterfalls were gorgeous. Your guide Yamile knows basically everything about Puerto Rican history and culture, and is more than happy to answer every question you might have.
