1. Angkor Archaeological Park
We will visit most of the best ancient buildings, which people should see within a day, and we will try our best to beat the tourist crowds as much as possible to ensure the peace of Angkor will take place. 1. A quieter spot to view the sun rising over Angkor Wat temple 2. An ancient royal city of Angkor Thom (the best-preserved South gate, the smiley-faced Bayon templ and Elephant terrace) shortly after the sun has shown up 3. Ta Prohm (the Tomb Raider temple) by 8am which most people haven't reached there 4. Back to the world's largest Angkor temple while others are having their lunch and siesta break
2. Angkor Wat
The world's largest religious building building which was dedicated to the Hindu Vishnu god
3. Angkor Thom
An ancient royal city which was constructed in the late 12th century by a great Khmer King, Jayavarman VII
4. Bayon Temple
A unique temple with over 200 compassionate and smiley faces crowning its towers
5. Terrace of the Elephants
An ancient stadium seating located in the royal city
6. Ta Prohm
An overgrown temple with huge tree growing out of the building, which was featured in the Hollywood Tomb Raider1
7. Angkor Archaeological Park
Our guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby at 4:45am to view the sunrise over Angkor Wat temple from the outside. Shortly after the sun has shown up, we will head a little north to take pleasure in visiting Angkor Thom (the South gate, the smiley-faced Bayon temple and Elephant terrace), which is an ancient royal city, while the temperature is still low and with less tourists. By 8am, the overgrown Ta Prohm temple, which was featured in the Hollywood Tomb Raider1, still has small amount of people. We'll take around an hour for paying a visit to this temple. We understand that a power nap is important for those who get up very early, so we will send you back to rest in the hotel until 12:30pm and we'll get back to the world's largest religious Angkor Wat temple while people are having their lunch break. We generally get back to the hotel by 3pm or later if you would like to visit another temple around there.

With a good guide you will visit all the temples and that is quite a lot. We had the 1 day tour. In carts everywhere. You've got to love it

Arun was extremely knowledgable about the history of the temples and was also able to take us through the least crowded entrances. I highly recommend this experience. The temples exceeded our already high expectations and I will tell everyone it is a must visit at least once in your life.

Tour guide Pin Vannak has been informative and attentive throughout the tour. There are a lot of history in every corner of Angkor Wat and the different temples. Private van transportation is appreciated so no need to arrange separately.

We couldn’t have enjoyed the tour more. We were made very comfortable and our guide Vannak was very knowledgeable and friendly. He also gave us a great history of Cambodia. Angkor Wat at sunrise is beyond expectations

A fantastic whole day tour with knowledgeable tour guide Kim who was very considerate and tailored the tour to our needs. He must also be a photography expert!

Amongst many things learned, the Angkor Wat is just one temple of the impressive ancient city Angkor. The city is subject to an impressive long term archaeological project on some 60+temples, reservoirs and city features.

One of the most amazing places I've been in my lifetime and don't know how it misses out on the current 7 wonders of the world list.

Fabulous day at Angor Wat and the surrounding temples with Sok! We started early to catch sunrise and it was a super start to a great day. Highly recommended if visiting Siem Reap.

We had an amazing tour at Angkor Wat and surrounding temples. Our guide, Kim, was so knowledgeable and passionate about Khmer history, it really enhanced the adventure. Kim was also able to take us on a route to avoid the major crowds and we had plenty of time to explore. He knew a great restaurant to drop us at for lunch. The company confirmed the tour the day before and were so easy to work with. I highly recommend!

We booked a tour guide from VIATOR for the Angkor temples. It was a day tour which started at 4 in morning. We got our breakfast packed and saw our cab was waiting outside. We were greeted with a warm welcome by our guide called Rithy. After we got our tickets Rithy told us that we would wait for the sunrise which was at about 6:30. We had our breakfast and saw the beautiful sunrise and then started towards the first temple. Thanks to Rithy we found out that Angkor Wat is not the name of the temple it is just one of the temples of the area called Angkor. Generally, people would go to Angkor Wat before going to other temples but Rithy explained that all tourists go to the Angkor Wat first so there would be a lot of crowd and we would not be able to enjoy the beautiful temple. So, we started with another temple called Ta Prom. He gave us all the information. These temples required a lot of walking but Rithy was always patient and waited for us every time we lagged behind. Soon we were done with the first temple. We entered the cab and were welcomed with cold water bottles and scented wet towels. Perfect for such a sunny day. Soon we were done with two other temples as well. Rithy was an excellent guide and gave us information of the tiniest details on carvings and scripts. The last temple was the Angkor Wat temple. The largest Hindu temple in the world. It had a humungous number of carvings but Rithy did not miss out on a single one of them. He was also very attentive and answered any questions we asked. He also carried extra water bottles in his bag in case we needed it. Soon we were done with the tour. Rithy was very attentive till we reached the hotel. He was an excellent guide with great hospitality. I would recommend everyone to go on this trip with Rithy.
