Peru is such a beautiful country, and Cusco is the cherry on top. So much history, culture and extraordinary gastronomy.
The best part of Visit South America is the amazing guides they have, all were great but discovering the Sacred Valley with Noe was the best experience by far, he takes UNBELIEVABLE pictures and knows all the secrets of the region. Please don’t miss out on the oportunity to explore Cusco and it’s sorroundings with him.
Gregorio is also another gem you should enjoy. He was my guide for discovering Machu Picchu, he was absolutely amazing as well. He answered all my questions and shared with me all the details about his heritage and Inca culture.
My only suggestion would be for the agency to have a bit better communication, I was permanently worried every night about my plans for the upcoming day and had to contact them myself to get the details of next day’s itinerary. They also forgot to mention that it’s a MUST to bring your passport to Machu Picchu, I was lucky enough to vbe carrying an electronic copy in my cellphone, if not I would have missed the tour.

BOOK IT! This was the trip of a lifetime and I am so glad I booked through Visit South America. Especially traveling as a group of young women, they made every part of the trip safe, easy, fun, and authentic! Their whole team will work with you closely to make transportation seamless and they have tons of resources at all hours if any problems arise. They are able to tailor the trips to meet your needs and have incredible local tips to help you avoid crowds, they made me feel like anything I wanted to do was possible but also kept my plans realistic so I was able to have a mix of adventures and hikes while having time to relax and recharge. I took incredible photos that I will cherish for the rest of my life. One of our tour guides they arranged for us found out it was my birthday and during that day called the local restaurant they planned to stop at for lunch to make a small birthday cake before we arrived. Such small touches that show everyone they work with is passionate about showing you an unforgettable personal experience. I can't recommend them enough! Be sure to fit in a stay at mountain view resort if possible, it is every animal lovers dream!!!

This was an unforgettable experience. Aiben was an amazing guide who was super informative and was a great laugh! The food was amazing and all the staff involved were super friendly and supportive. I would recommend to all.

A really great experience! Our tour guide Aiben was really informative and encouraging, bear in mind that the hike on day two is quite tough and mainly uphill. The food was delicious and very plentiful, the chef catered very well to vegetarians.

I’ve been wanting to do this tour / visit Machu Picchu all my life. Aiben and the team made my trip extra special, and I was extremely happy to have completed a life long dream with them. Aiben was knowledgeable and clearly passionate about inka history and cultures, which made the trip entertaining and informative.

Planned the trip less than a week in advance and the people at VSA were very helpful and accommodating even with such short notice. Very responsive to questions and concerns before and during the trip. Tour guides were great, very approachable and overall nice people which made the trip even better. Places we visited were amazing and usually were the first ones arriving at the very touristy locations so we had the place to ourselves before the large crowds arrived.

Excellent company to book your tours . You will not go wrong! We had the opportunity to have the most amazing guide (Noe) for our private tours. We became friends after days of traveling together. He is so knowledgeable about all the sites we visited. They have everything organized to the tee. They pick you up and drop you off and organize your meals. They are all extremely friendly. I am very particular about traveling and they made my trip hassle free. Don’t look elsewhere this company is the one to use .

We had the best experience in the Cusco region with VSA! Every guide and driver was so friendly, personable, and helpful! We absolutely loved how personal our tour felt. While other guides from big buses yelled “bus 72 meet here at noon” our guide Noah (the GOAT!!!) extended our stay at the spot because we loved it so much. While other bus lines probably went to some buffet, Noah asked us our preferences to give us the best local restaurant options and even took us to a local’s home for lunch. While we stood up at the top of rainbow mountain all by ourselves, we saw hundreds of people making their way up the trail after being dropped off by big buses. Ohhh and Machu Picchu!!! We were one of the first ones in the citadel which was surreal! Noah was so knowledgeable and so patient as he took as many photos of us as we wished LOL. We ended up not wanting to do the lake on the last day and Noah was so accommodating! He gave us a tour around Cusco that day instead and it was amazing! Honestly this tour was everything we wanted and more! So personal. You can feel how much VSA and the guides care about providing you the best experience possible and next time I’m down in South America they’ll be the first people I contact to get my plans started! Thank you so much for such an amazing experience!
