My experience was sensational. In addition to a lot of technique, patience and safety. The staff is also very friendly, attentive and calm. I had the opportunity to learn from the team, in addition to surfing. Many lessons and learnings were taught in and out of the water. I recommend this team and their experience. It was amazing! ❤️🏄🏽‍♂️🤙🏽

The experience with Gabriel was sensational. In addition to being very nice people, the guys are concerned about looking for the best waves in the city. Spending the day with him and Ivan allowed me to improve my surfing (the equipment they have is top notch) at the same time that I discovered new beaches, waves and stories about the city. It's a 10-star experience, and their human quality is 20! I will certainly return as soon as possible.

The experience was amazing. One Carioca Day did a fantastic job executing a great day on the water. I am a beginner surfer and Gabriel knows how to teach. He is patient and has a great way of delivering instructions as well as encouraging me throughout the process. This was my second lesson with Gabriel and I have another planned again. This is a great way to start learning how to surf without feeling intimidated. One Carioca Day offers so much more than lessons and tours, you make genuine connections and you feel at home in Brazil! Thanks again guys!

Very helpful instructor who brought us to a good beach location while being mindful of weather, maximizing the experience. Was helpful and accommodating, would book again.

The surf lesson was awesome! Personalized and very enjoyable! Gabriel was incredibly patient and fun! He also took me to an incredible spot to see one of Rio’s most beautiful beaches, not very known amongst tourists! Just an amazing guy to hang with!

My partner gifted me for my birthday this day with Gabriel. Gabriel was a super engaging and fun instructor. He was very knowledgable of not only surfing, but of a lot of Rio de Janeiro itself. He looks for the best beaches on that day to bring you depending on your level of experience. We were brought to the most clear water, perfect sized waves beach, picture perfect day. We even got up on our first wave!! My partner and I also did the "Two Brother's" hike that same evening with Gabriel and couldn't have felt more comfortable when in the Vidigal favela. He was super supportive and open to our comfort levels. Gabriel also showed us around to another beautiful beach and gave us some local tips, and even took and sent drone footage of us. We enjoyed his company so much that we ended up meeting for a football match later that week! I cannot recommend Gabriel more to those visiting Rio de Janeiro!

Amazing surfing experience. Gabriel is an excellent instructor and speaks great English. The surfing was perfectly adjusted for my level.

Best experience in Rio! Gabriel is kind, knowledgeable and fun! We did both the surf experience and the two brother hike - both were perfectly organised and so much fun. I would recommend one carioca day to any one coming to Rio and wanting to have a special experience!
