Stayed at the beach house in seahouses, Northumberland. I had my dog with me and was impressed with room and staff for making us both very welcome. Great place with easy access to the beach, walked up to Bamburgh castle along the beach and sand dunes which the dog loved ( about a 1hr walk ) visited Bamburgh castle and more lovely beaches just beyond. A trip to Holy island for great visit to a very interesting tour of the island. Local fish and chips are a must in this part of the world, plenty of eating places and a lovely small harbour at seahouses. A big shout out to all the staff at the Beach house hotel, on reception Honour and Zara ( big dog lovers ❤️) housekeeping Shelly and Ange for keeping us supplied and tidy 😁 FOH staff Julie, Josh, Ethan and Lynn for great service at the bar and for breakfast/meals. Chefs behind the scenes Dean, Tony and Hayden. All lovely people always there to assist or answer questions made our stay a memorable one. 😁🐾🐾🐾🐾🐶

Leo was a great guide, he took us to explore a Barra da Tijuca we didn't even know existed. We saw alligators, capybaras, and wild birds and we learnt a bit more about the history of the lagoon.

Leonardo picked us up right on time and took us down the canal. We visited a more “natural” spot with mangroves, wild birds, and caimans. Then he took us up the canal and we saw fancy footballers homes, more modest surroundings, and a small beach. We did not end up stopping at the beach because it was extremely crowded. We did go to ilha da gigoia, a very pretty island with some artisans and cafes. Totally different feel from the rest of rio.
Leonardo provided some snacks, water and sodas as well. Overall a nice little experience at a fair price.
