You are the whole day, with your local guide, inside the countryside of Crete. The roads are almost all off road, the chance to see the real inland of Crete! We drive through the mountains towards the grape yards of the wine areas, passing small villages, through a river bed, sheltered by bamboo, a lot of nature. Crossing the river where we may have some water flowing in the months April, May and again from half of September. One of the highlights is a visit of a cave. We stop in a very authentic mountain village, on the square next to the church, for a coffee. We continue our trip along several small villages, on dirt tracks and through the green nature and herbs, passing olive groves and grape fields. We stop for lunch in a very small mountain village with a spectacular beautiful view. After lunch we drive through a mountainous area. On the way down we see a magnificent view of the north coast of Crete. We end this interesting day with a swim in the refreshing sea. Join us!

Had a super fun jeep safari with Gijs. Also heard many interesting facts about the island. Very nice group. Definitely recommended to book!

We enjoyed the self drive safari of the organisation Eye Travel very much.
We drove ourselves with the ‘Eye Travel’ jeeps and enjoyed the rough beautiful landscape filled with olive trees.
Our guide of the day, Louise did a phantastic job managing a group of toerists in an interesting and humourous way and switching fluently between English and French.

We had a great day with the family, we passed on roads but also small winding paths, very nice with a beautiful landscape all along, villages like gorges! We ate very well and the guides were great, a good atmosphere and very interesting explanations on the ridge. We even had 2 raki breaks during the day :)

An unmissable excursion, it makes you see the landscape with your hair blowing in the wind and a permanent good mood! The coffee breaks really add a plus, the meal is excellent! We highly recommend!

If you love history then you'll love this tour. We couldn't drive as we are from Australia but that actually worked out better as the tour guide told us so much history of Crete. The lunch was also amazing.

The jeep safari was a 10/10 , the views was spectacular and never ending . This is one of our last big trips before we set back home . And I would like to say it was wonderful . The team members are so friendly and make you feel comfortable . Especially Demetrius he was a wonderful guide and a good person.
