Alex was fantastic! Such a friendly tour guide and very informative. He gave us lots of recommendation of places to see in Romania and was very knowledgeable on the history of Romania too. 5/5 would recommend - fab day!

So much fun! Alex from We-Tour was wonderful. He communicated time changes (that were beyond his control) and have me alternate options that worked out great. The sanctuary was the highlight of my entire 4mo trip. I can't recommend it enough, as they survive purely on donations! Do this trip and make sure you get Alex!

Libearty Bear Sanctuary is a must! Yes, there are sad stories but the bears there are happy now. There are fences but the bears have underground tunnels so they can go anywhere in the 69 acres. Bran’s Castle is okay. I’d already heard the 2.5 hour wait wasn’t worth the tour inside the castle so I skipped and took pictures outside the castle. There are shopping/souviner booths outside the castle but bring cash because they do not take cc.
Alex as a guide was great. I felt comfortable and safe. As the other reviewers say he’s also a foodie so trust him to take you to the best place. He was also very helpful in recommending other tours and places to see while I was in Bucharest.

My wife and I got to experience a tour of Libearty Bear Sanctuary and Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle). Alex was so good about communicating with us prior to picking us up. He showed up early and was already at our hotel when we walked out. Alex was such a great driver and so knowledgeable. The entire day felt like hanging out with an old friend. His music playlist was incredible. The Libearty Bear Sanctuary was the highlight of our time in Romania. It was like Jurassic Park but with bears and wolves. It was such an incredible time and the beauty of Romania was incredible. The thing I loved most about Bran Castle was not the actual castle but the storks and their nests on top of chimney's in this little town. It was so mind blowing to see. Highly would recommend doing this adventure and hopefully you are lucky enough to get Alex as your guide.

I took this trip in April with Alex and it was an incredible experience. The whole trip was planned perfectly and went very smooth. Alex insisted on an early start in order to avoid the traffic, to get to the bear sanctuary on time, since they have only 2 slots for visitors in the whole day. He even called the hotel in advance to get them to pack my breakfast to go, so we could be on time. As a result, we even reached the Draculas Castle well in advance before the crowds got there, and I had lots of time to visit and take pictures. The bear sanctuary was a unique experience seeing the bears up close, and the castle was lovely as well. Alex was a wonderful guide and on the way back he dropped me off at the city centre and gave me a list of must see attractions around the area.
Overall, a highly recommend tour to take.

We had an excellent tour guide in Alex.
Spoke great English and got us to events before crowds. Long, but pretty drive from Bucharest to both events.
Love the private tour aspect of trip as you visit locations at your our pace.

Honestly, I thought it would be pretty boring, but never in my mind would I have thought the amazing adventure we are embarking on. Romania is a very beautiful country, with lots of incredible landscapes and beautiful nature and wildlife. The Bear Sanctuary was awesome, truly crazy to see massive bears so close to you. Dracula’s castle was also great. The combination of nature sightseeing and historical tour provided a perfect balance for our one day trip. Alex was a wonderful guide and we had a lot of fun in the car.
