Drive along the exciting 25 Serpentines road from Kotor to reach the village of Njegusi. Learn about life in the Montenegrin countryside, meet a local family, and taste the national snacks like smoked ham and cheese, plus a glass of local wines or brandy. After a short rest, we driving to to National Park Lovcen, through the rocky mountains, where we will visit Njegos"s Mausoleum. Driving to Budva, stop for walking tour, and free time. Driving back to Kotor.

Tom, Linda, and Dena took the serpentine from Kotor, making several stops for stunning views and photos!. Then we stopped on Njegusi for prosciutto, bread, cheese and wine, which included a tour of the smokehouse. From there we visited the Cetejne monastery and finally to st. Steven island before returning to Kotor. Our tour guide was Mirko Pantovic, who was amazing! Mirko filled us in on all the history of each location, shared his knowledge of local culture and customs, and was an absolute delightful host! He took great care of us every single step of the way, and was extremely polite and personable. We felt quite at ease with Mirko, and feel as though we have gained a new friend! Cheers to Mirko for making this a memorable tour!

Moro was an awesome tour Guide and was very knowledgeable of the towns and the towns. Beautiful country and great people. Enjoyed some of the spots that he took us to that was not tourists spots!

Mirko was such a friendly and informed guide!! We weren’t sure exactly what we wanted to see in Kotor and he helped us with great recommendations and even took us to some surprise viewpoints that were breathtaking. We had a great trip with him!!

Our guide Mirko was excellent. The itinerary he planned worked very well for us. We particularly enjoyed our stop at the smoke house and restaurant in Njeguši for a snack of prosciutto and cheese. The walking tour of the old town was fascinating. Mirko was very knowledgeable about Montenegrin history and politics.

Our tour started with a hotel pickup and our guide Mirko provided a great service. He was full of information and told us all about the history of the area. He took us to try a local dish in Cetinje which was meat in a filo pastry with a yoghurt which was delicious. We also saw the royal family birthplace and went inside a monestry. Mirko then took on on the windy roads up in the mountains to see great views before decending down to Kotor. The buses coming up could not get past the many cars going the other way and Mirko helped get the traffic moving. It was a great day out and Mirko was a brilliant tour guide making an enjoyable experience.

I am glad we found Spot Travel to tour Montenegro. Mirko, the tour guide and driver, was great. a friendly and professional tour leader of this beautiful country. We traveled all over the country for 3 days while Mirko tried so much to cover all our wishes of sightseeing, suggesting some of his own and taking us to good restaurants on time. I am thanking Mirko and Spot Travel behalf of all six of us who travelled together on these 3 remarkable days with Spot Travel representative. Also, we have special thanks to Mirko and the spot travel team for helping us, been flexible enough to change the return drive due to the emergency we faced. Spot Travel and Mirko are the best choices to travel Montenegro. We had such an amazing day with Mirko, who created an amazing itinerary for my family - a group of 8 that included people from 14 to 80 years old. Flexible and personable, he did a great job explaining Montenegro's complicated history to us and took us to some of the most breathtaking sites that we have ever seen. He also allowed us to change our itinerary on the fly, swapping out one stop for a long, leisurely traditional Montenegrin lunch that was easily the best meal of our trip. His finest moment, however, came when we were driving down 25 Serpentine and there were two buses blocking traffic causing a huge traffic jam. We were worried we would not be able to make back to our ship on time, but Mirko literally got out of the van, walked down the mountain a bit and helped direct traffic to get us moving again. All while making back up plans to ensure we'd get to the ship on time. He was amazing. It was a day we will never forget. Cannot recommend this tour company - or Mirko - enough!
