2. Ancient City of Ephesus

The Odeion, also known as the Odeum or Bouleuterion, was a small roofed theater-like structure located in the heart of Ephesus. The Odeion could accommodate around 1,500 spectators and was primarily used for meetings of the city council (boule) and other administrative functions.

It was built to commemorate the Roman Emperor Trajan's visit to the city in the 2nd century AD. 5. Bibliotheque de Celsus
The Library of Celsus was one of the most famous and impressive structures in ancient Ephesus. It was a monumental Roman-style library built in the 2nd century AD by the Roman consul Gaius Julius Aquila in honor of his father, Celsus Polemaeanus. The library housed a vast collection of scrolls and served as a mausoleum for Celsus, whose sarcophagus was placed in a niche inside. The facade of the library was adorned with ornate carvings and statues, making it a remarkable example of Roman architecture.

The Great Theater of Ephesus was one of the largest and best-preserved theaters of antiquity. It could accommodate up to 25,000 spectators and was used for various events, including theatrical performances, concerts, and gladiator contests. The city was famous for its philosophers, thinkers, and mathematicians, including Thales, Anaximander, and Anaximenes, who were known as the Milesian School. Miletus was also a significant cultural and religious center, with notable structures like the Sanctuary of Apollo Delphinios and the Delphinium, dedicated to the god Apollo.
9. Temple of Apollo
The temple was colossal, with over a hundred massive columns and a vast courtyard. Construction of the temple began in the 8th century BC, but it underwent several expansions and renovations over the centuries. The most famous oracle at Didyma was the renowned oracle of Apollo, where pilgrims sought guidance and prophecies from the god.
