The Bob Marley Museum is the former home of the reggae legend. Bob’s home is filled with rich memories and treasured mementos, which seek to preserve the life and accomplishment of this great Jamaican and outstanding musician.

Overrated, expensive and uninformed tour guides. Found out more about Bob Marley with a quick internet search when we got back to our Resort than we did on this tour

This tour was amazing! The tour guide was very knowledgeable about Bob Marley, his music, his life. I would recommend this tour if you ever visit Jamaica! I felt so close to Bob Marley as I toured his beautiful home. I didn’t want this tour to end! ❤️

When planning our recent trip to Jamaica, my wife really wanted to go to the Bob Marley Museum in Kingston. I found this tour on Viator, but the price gave me some pause. But we figured why not? and I booked it. And what a tour! Just to be clear, this is a private tour. Our driver, Norman, picked us up at hotel and drove us to and from the museum. He was very friendly and a great guide. During the whole trip, he told us about the areas of the island we were traveling through. The new toll road is quite an achievement, and cuts a great deal of time off the trip. We made it from just outside Ocho Rios to the museum in a little over an hour. While the museum itself is not large, it covers a great deal of information about Bob Marley's life, music, and philosophy, On the return trip, Norman gave us a short tour of Kingston - up into Beverly Hills for an overview of the city, then downtown and by the waterfront. And on the trip back, he took us part of the way on the old road - through the Cobre River Gorge and over the Flat Bridge. While the tour was expensive, it was a great experience and well worth it.

A trip worth taking to experience the capital city and ambassador of Jamaica. Driving to and from the museum did not seem as long as expected using the new, modern North South Highway and passing through the various landscapes of Jamaica. Going through Kingston brought our pulse rates back up a little with the contrast from the countryside tranquility to the hustle of the city. Although the Kingston environment has a relatively calm city vibe. The Bob Marley Museum house and grounds are true to what I saw in a movie/documentary. The staff was friendly, irie, and funny. Our tour guide from our hotel to the museum was a gentleman and accommodating with our needs of food and drink.
