Both of us loved this tour. Olivia was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the museums. We loved that she was able to relate works of art of both museums and that she included not only an explanation of the art and the history surrounding each piece. Hughly recommended.

This was an excellent tour made better by the fact that our wonderful guide, Olivia, is an art history professor. I have an art history degree so we had a lot to discuss and it is always great to see the works I studied. Olivia met us at our hotel, then we made our way to the Prado, where we were able to bypass the long lines. There is never enough time to see the entire museum as it is massive but we definitely saw many of the highlights. We then made our way to the Reina Sofia where we also bypassed the lines. Olivia has a huge wealth of knowledge about Spanish art that enhanced the tour. We thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with her and I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone who is considering it.

My 11-year-old daughter and i did this tour on one of our first days in Madrid. Our guide, Olivia, was awesome. She was SO knowledgeable about all the art and the museums. She made this tour amazing and we are so glad we went with her. Highly recommended!

Our tour this morning with Olivia was amazing! Maxime, who owns the tour company picked us up from our hotel and delivered us to Olivia, who was our guide for the tours of the Prado & Reina Sofia museums.
When we arrived at the Prado we really did skip the lines. There were probably more than 1,000 people in line to enter the museum this morning (no exaggeration!) and we walked right past the entire line and were welcomed into the museum immediately. The same thing happened at the Reina Sofia. This likely saved us at least 2 hours.
Our guide, Olivia was brilliant! She knew every nuance about the important pieces of art and it was obvious throughout the tour how much she loves sharing her knowledge with others. I learned so much and it made all of the artwork truly come alive.
I highly recommend Maxime, Olivia and Madrid Discovery!
