Such a great tour! The pick up and drop off was smooth. The lunch provided at the end of the tour was delicious and included some yummy wine! The hiking boots provided were also super helpful. The hike/walk was about 1.5 hours and was gorgeous. It went by so quickly!

Booked to do this with my husband as part of our week stay in Taormina. Roberto picked us up from the hotel and was super friendly to start with. He was very knowledgeable about the local area and the volcano and such. Honestly we were absolutely engrossed in what he said. We were a small group of 7 and he made sure to include every single one of us. Started off at a winery where we all got hiking boots so don’t worry about that. Wear longer socks though to protect the ankles. We then went onto mount etna and walked up. Unfortunately being asthmatic I did struggle a little. Roberto was super friendly and helpful. I was ready to give up but he was so encouraging and patient with me and didn’t make me feel like a fool at all. He kept focus on the group but also made sure I was supported. He genuinely is a credit to the company and honestly the best tour guide for anything I’ve ever done around the world. Such a rewarding experience to finally make it to the top. Capped off by a little wine tasting and light lunch. Best experience ever.

We had a wonderful time! Our tour guide was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. He also adapted to the group and took us on a more adventurous trek up Mount Etna. After the tour we had a very nice light lunch and my daughter’s gluten free option was great too.
Highly recommend!

That tour with Roberto C was absolutely fantastic, we have done different tours all trip and no one has been as engaging, entertaining or knowledgeable as Roberto. And as for Mt Etna, wow, what an experience. Don’t miss it

Our experience was wonderful. Antonio ( Tony) was an excellent guide. Knew so much. Shared so much ! And helped my husband and I with moving slower to accommodate us. Highly recommended!!
Very passionate about his love for Etna and his village. And it is obvious he loves what he does.

From the booking online on Trip Advisor, this trip was straightforward with excellent customer service from Etna People. I liked the fact that Etna People provide hiking boots (recommended) and a waterproof jacket. I am not a big walker, I'm in my 60s, and I found the walk/hike comfortable and not difficult at all. Saro was the tour guide and he made the experience even more enjoyable. He has an easy manner, very personable and extremely knowledgeable about Etna and volcanoes in general. The sandwich lunch with wine at the end of the trip was a pleasure.

Great tour. Our guide Daniele Caccamo was great especially considering it was his first day…. you would never have guessed it. His knowledge was superb and he lead the way brilliantly. Nice food and wine to finish off the tour. Highly recommend!
