This was the highlight of our trip to Greece! Alex and the entire cooking school staff were warm, knowledgeable, and they all had a great sense of humor. We learned to make things that were delicious and easy to replicate at home if we can find the amazingly fresh ingredients they use in Crete. The setting was gorgeous. Our kids 17 and 15 said it was their favorite part of an amazing two weeks exploring Greece.

Our driver and interpreter Yanna picked us up at our hotel. What followed was about as fun a tour as I've ever done. Our hosts were welcome and amusing and we had a very international group. From start to finish we learned a lot, ate some great food and enjoyed some good wine. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in village life and local cooking. No cooking experience was required.

Awesome cooking experience where we discover a wonderful place with awesome views on the mountains to cook. Our tour guide Yannis was very knowledgeable about Crete and we had a lovely time with him in our group. We had the possibility to taste some Cretan wines with a little guessing game included, as well as the food we made of course (we only did fairly easy cooking techniques so this class is accessible to everyone) and more (there was really a lot of food for everyone, so if you eat a lot you'll be more than satisfied). We also had a brief history of Crete and Greece (I, being Greek, got chills with the fast description of all that our country has endured). Everyone on the team was lovely and made sure we had a great time. It's also a great way to meet other travellers in Crete.

This tour can only be described as magical. Every element, from the guide to the breathtaking location, felt like a dream. The view was enchanting, and the ladies who welcomed us imparted their wisdom on cooking with the golden oil, sharing secrets of its flavors. We unanimously agreed that this day would be etched in our memories forever. Every moment was perfectly organized and truly worth every penny.

Our tour guide Alex about the Cretan food, the country, the olives, and the home of the Cretan couple who welcomed us. The views from the top of the mountain were beautiful! We were both inside and outside. The group we were with wasn’t too big and great for being able to teach a cooking class. The van ride was 45min. Each way from Chania. Other than the van ride being hot we had an amazing experience!

Great experience! We loved the food, the view from the top of the mountain, and the home we were welcomed by the Cretian family who taught the class. The group wasn’t too big and was perfect for teaching a group. So glad the weather cooled off you are both inside and outside. We learned so much from our tour guide Alex about the olives, the culture, the food. It is a 45 min. Drive each way from Chania. It was hot when we were there so the van ride was a little hot but other than that we had an amazing experience.

The mountains were beautiful. I loved learning how to make some traditional Cretan food. I’m looking forward to receiving the recipes! The farm was so peaceful and our hosts were wonderful.
