Matt was amazing - great guy, really friendly, funny and made the tour special for us! Would totally recommend to anyone going to Belfast to do the taxi tour with him!!

This black cab tour is a MUST for your trip to Belfast if you are interested in learning the heart and history of this amazing city. Our driver was a Belfast local named David and he shared his firsthand experiences from his childhood growing up during The Troubles. He was knowledgeable, compassionate, kind, and was able to share a beautiful perspective that showed the humanity from both sides involved in the fighting. I was on the tour with my two teenage children, and we were all highly engaged with his history and stories. He picked us up and dropped us off directly at our hotel, was punctual, courteous and the taxi was a genuine black London cab. He brought us to Falls Road, Shankill Road, The Peace Wall and Divis Street and gave us ample time to take photographs while he answered all our questions.
This was one of our favorite activities in Ireland. Please bring cash to tip these drivers generously so they can continue sharing their stories with us!

Matthew “Lunatic” was an absolute blessing for us. He truly brought Belfast to life with his personal insight and the rich, dark and colorful history of the area while shedding light on today. I could not have imagined all the different things Matthew showed us in the brief time we had him! It felt like we had a family member showing us around that we had known for decades. What a true joy he is!!! A thousand blessings to all who voyage with him!

Fascinating and very enlightening tour of the Northern Ireland past conflict including the current situation. I did this tour at the end of a work event. Had some time to kill and chose this over sitting in the airport, definitely time well spent. I was also kindly dropped to the airport on time. Highly recommend.

Mathew is an amazing person and he explains everything with a-lot of patience and detail. He is someone who knows the detail of Belfast and is very friendly.

This tour is well worth the money. A really informative and thought provoking tour. The driver was friendly, funny and very good at local knowledge. It was also interesting to hear some of his own stories of when he was growing up which he was happy to share. Overall this tour is one I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

We had an excellent tour with Matthew who was knowledgeable and able to answer our questions. Matthew showed us around with his natural humour yet tackling difficult issues. He gave fair representation to both sides of the political history as well as speaking with the experience of growing up during the troubles. We’d thoroughly recommend this tour.
