This was such a great experience, easy and would definitely recommend! The voucher exchange was easy to do at the ticket counter and everyone is so helpful. This is a must do if you are in Innsbruck!

Relly well organised and very slick. Fantastic vies. Even som snow at the top. Bit of a walk to get to the highest point but worth it. Views over innsbruck and surrounding mountains.

We travelled in different transport modes starting with a bus trip in the hop-on and hop-off to the Congress station where the modern funicular Hungerbergbahn took us to Hungerberg. From here Seegrubenbahn Cable rail took us to the Seegrube station. Here we changed over to Hafelekarbahn Cable rail to reach top of Innsbruck at 2334m high.
The views from each level were spectacular!
Once at the top there is 360 degrees of stunning view. You are free to move around and can see the backside of the mountain facing Innsbruck as well as all the other views along the Innsbruck valley. Spectacular scenery is there if you walk up a bit on the left side. Another world.
TIP : Most of the people found the tickets to be expensive. We purchased THE INNSBRUCK CARD for 24 hours. It included all public transport including The Hop on Hop off Sightseer Bus and Round Trip Cable Car Tickets.

I grew up in Colorado hiking the high peaks so I do love the big mountains. For three days it was raining so I didn’t bother to go up. The clouds cleared on my last day and had booked the trip that day. So worth it. You take the modern cable car and then two large gondolas to get to the top. Very easy and well organized. Once at the top you are free to hike around and can see the backside of the mountain facing Innsbruck as well as all the other views along the Innsbruck valley. Spectacular scenery in June it is all green with snow covered peaks. I enjoyed it a lot and if you start early can get this done in a half day or so, it is up to you how much time you want to take. Plan on an hour or so to get to the top from the very bottom.

Yes the tickets are expensive but the views are fantastic. We were fortunate to have a beautiful day. Don't expect a lot on the actual gondola rides as they are pretty full but once at the top there is actually 360 degrees of stunning view. There are opportunities for a bit if hiking if you are keen.

We bought the funicular/ cable car return tickets and left from Congress station. Although the tickets are a little pricey, they are worth every penny! The cost of this structure must have been enormous! The cable car stations are all unique and amazing! The views from each level were spectacular! Can’t believe how much snow is still around in summer! A must do when in Innsbruck.

Very nice trip up the mountain and a spectacular view. The reason I gave it 4 stars is it was not easy to find the starting point where you redeem your online purchase for an actual ticket. Local folks were not helpful & downright rude when asked of directions. We walked around for an hour before we found it. Get a taxi to take you even if hotel clerk says it’s close.

We spoke to a viator agent regarding a full refund of this top of the innsbruck cable ticket. He said we would get our refund back. We told him the top was under maintenance and the weather was cloudy and nothing would be seen. The refund i got was 10% of the total refund. Not a very good experience. They should have informed us it was under maintenance and cancelled the tour themselves instead of us finding out when we got there.
