This excursion includes an itinerary in stages to let you know and appreciate places of particular natural value within the reserve of the Etna Park up to an altitude of about 2000 meters. Thanks to the experience of our staff, on board of 4x4 vehicles you will live an interesting and at the same time fun experience. Starting from the lava flows that threatened entire villages, we will visit the extinct craters and the viewpoint of the majestic Valle del Bove. We will descend into the meanders of the volcano visiting a lava flow cave (lava tube) equipped with a helmet and speleologist lights. The tour will end with a tasting of Sicilian specialties.
IMPORTANT NOTES: If you have a car we recommend that you reach our meeting point in Trecastagni in MontataGrande.
LANGUAGE: During the high season there may be overbooking of reservations for one language. In this case, a tour leader speaking the selected language will be guaranteed in the scheduled stages of the tour.

The Guides were communicative and friendly, and overall, the trip was well planned a very enjoyable. Though I must admit I expected a bit more "offroad experience" judging by the photos, except for a few parts where the jeeps were actually tested, they seems like unnecessary addition rather than the main theme of this trip. Overall it was good, but I had higher expectations due to numerous images from more secluded areas which I don't think were part of it

We had an incredible time with our guide, Francesco. He catered the tour to our interests and abilities, and was SUPER knowledgable about "Mama Etna". This was by far our favorite experience while staying in Catania. The lunch and wine after was so delicious--I really recommend adding this on! It was also very easy to find the spot for our transfer from Catania to the company. They also had shoes and jackets for rent, which was very helpful as we packed for warm summer weather. I highly recommend this experience!

Die Tour war super! Sie ist für jeden sehr gut geeignet. Man muss nicht viel wandern und sieht trotzdem alles. Die Guides waren super. Sie haben immer wieder was erklärt und man hat gemerkt, wie der Etna sie fasziniert :)
Die Tour hat insgesamt 5 Stunden gedauert und alles lief so wie wir uns vorgestellt haben. Danke für diese Erfahrung

Great tour with knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides. The meeting spot can be quite hard to find, but it is a little cafe/food shop set back from the road so a spot for coffee before start. Driven to the side craters and an explanation of how they are formed with amazing views over Catania and Taormina. Then driven to a lava tunnel where we put on hard hats (provided) and walked through a lava tunnel, again with an explanation of how they form and the importance of lava tunnels on how far lava can flow. Next a cross country drive to another spot on the south of Etna to see how the side of Etna collapsed and how people now manage lava flows. Finally back to the start where the tour finished but we stayed on and bought a fantastic lunch before moving on.

A great way to see Enta, up close eithout the crowds. The lava flow cave and view from high up into the crator was a highlight. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour ended with a tasting in a local farm shop with the option to stay in the farm restaurant for lunch. This was lovely way to finish the tour for us! Thank you 😊

We had an amazing trip with Lucca, our guide. He very knowledgeable, has good English, is a great communicator, and has sense of humour! i travelled with my husband, sister and brother-in-law. We came away in awe of Etna, know a lot more volcanoes, and enjoyed the tastings and lunch at the beautiful small holding where we met. (a bit difficult to find, but trust the sat nav and follow the signs and you'll be there

Our guide Alessio was very nice and did a good job as a guide. Very enjoyable experience. The tasting after was really great! We opted to eat lunch there and it was delightful!. Definitely highly recommend!
