I booked a private boat trip lasting several hours for me and my four friends with Monika and Giovannni. Monika and Giovannni are a great team that complement each other perfectly. Monika speaks fluent German, French, English and of course Italian and has the organizational talent of a Central European. I was well looked after even before the actual excursion day. Giovanni is the local who melts into the sea and whose eyes light up when he talks about how in love he is with his islands. Both are very hands-on, always find a solution and are not afraid to jump into the fresh water at the beginning of April to accompany us swimming or to catch even more delicious fish for lunch. It was a fantastic experience to explore the island world from the water in a small group. The clarity and color of the water was breathtaking. I have rarely seen so many beautiful shades of blue and turquoise. The beech trees and bathing spots offered a unique swimming experience. And the four dolphins near the boat enchanted us all and made the trip even more special.
I would book again at any time and wish the whole team a successful season!

Wonderful trip, a true passion for Giovanni (Christian's father), you can perceive it in the way he tells you and describes every point of the island. Wonderful service with fresh fruit and prosecco, excursions to the caves and pools of Venus. Stop for lunch at Donkey Beach.
Christian and Giovanni are a real certainty!

An excellent skipper, his vintage boat shows all his passion for the sea and for the old ways of doing things, even if the engine under its body is the envy of modern hulls. Giovanni led us on a welcoming and fun traditional tour. Only one flaw, which does not depend on him, the menu, which I attach, of the only place on the beach where he stops for his lunch break, is to say the least incomplete.

We had a great day with the captain and his young assistant Lucy. Had good swims, stopped for a relaxed lunch then swam some more. We even had a Prosecco on board in between swims

Great experience; the tour started from Lipari marina, went along the southern coast of Lipari, and then a full round around the coast of Vulcano Island. We have visited several natural beaches that are only accessable by boat. The captain, Giovanni & our guide Francesca did a great job keeping us entertained and informed us about everything. They gave us diving masks to see the beatiful nature under the sea (the water is so clear, you can easily see the fishes & everything underwater). The captain show us some hidden caves, where no othet ships stopped & guided us into the undarwater caves - truly a unique experience. The boat is really beautiful, old-school wooden boat, there were fruits, water and prosecco. Stopped for a lunch on a unique black sanded beach that is only accassable by boat. Our guides looked out for us, checked on us regularly. Giovanni knows a lot about the islands, and Francesca translated everything for us. The small group (6 guests & the children of the guides) was perfect, had a great time with them. The price is reasonable, really worth it. The best experience on the Eolian Islands, truly recommended!

My wife and I had a fantastic time with Christian snorkeling and swimming around Vulcano. If you love jumping off of charming old Italian boats all day into beautiful, warm waters this trip is for you.
The most memorable part was being able to swim through two different caves along the island. Something that beautiful you would think there would be crowds but it was only us, which made it feel even more special.
It was a very unique experience to be a part of this family run business, we hope down the line when we return we'll be able to meet again!

We had such a great day with Captain Giovanni! We went around the island of Volcano with at least 7 stops to swim. It was so fascinating to snorkel and see the variety of undersea environments and fish. The highlight was a stop at a black sand beach and swimming through a cave with the most incredible blue underwater glow. Delicious lunch stop on the beach on the southern side of Volcano. The boat is very pretty and traditional. Giovanni was super helpful w my partner who is not a strong swimmer. Very welcoming for two gay travelers. Highly highly recommend this fantastic captain and trip!

We can highly recommend this boat tour around Lipari and to Vulcano with captain Giovanni! We stopped several times to go swimming and snorkeling. Giovanni knows all the good spots for that! He also brought fresh fruit, water and Prosecco. The boat is big and comfortable; room to sit and to sunbath. Definitely worth it! We really enjoyed the tour!
