Hands down one of the best tours we took in Korea. Jung, our tour guide, was absolutely phenomenal. She took us all around the fortress and was a wealth of information. She knows more about a single Korean king than I know about my entire country's history! She had excellent answers to all of our questions, of which we had many. Jung was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, friendly, and truly seemed to care about making sure we had a great time and learned as much as we could. I would highly recommend this tour and this tour company to anyone. They picked us up at our hotel and dropped us off here, too, so no additional subway rides! The fortress was lovely, so beautiful at night.
Also, we didn't catch his name, but the driver was also fantastic. We have taken a lot of tours and taxis, he was by far the most careful and law-abiding driver we have had the pleasure to drive with. This was one of the first trips where neither of us became carsick, which also contributed to our lovely evening.

We enjoyed the tour very much!
We got picked up at our hotel in Myeongdong and were also dropped off in front of it at the end of the tour.
When we arrived in Suwon all the sights were beautifully lit up and we got to walk around the nice area inside the fortress. Our guide, Jung, was very nice and she explained all the sites to us and could answer all of our questions! She really knew what she was talking about and was able to explain it all well. She also helped us pick out a restaurant to eat in.
We had a lot of fun and would definitely recommend this tour!!

Excellent guided tour of the Hwaseong Fortress, an 18th-century fortification surrounding the center of the city of Suwon and a UNESCO World Heritage site! The tour started promptly at 6PM from our hotel lobby where we were picked up by our English-speaking guide. We then rode for about 1 hour from Seoul to Suwon, a very pleasant city. Before starting the tour we had a very nice traditional Korean dinner at a restaurant of our choice in the area (not included in the tour price). By the time we finished the dinner, it was night and we began our walking tour, following the fortress walls. The tour took about 2 hours of slow-paced, very enjoyable walking. The fortress is impressive, to say the least and the views at night are magnificent! Our guide was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and eager to provide the information we were looking for and answer our questions. She gave us enough time for enjoying the views & taking pictures. After that, we rode for another hour back to our hotel in Seoul. Definitely recommended tour of a must-see attraction!

Chung was an excellent guide. Loved the walk and commentary of the Fortress and wall. Korean BBQ dinner was also excellent. Pleased we did this tour.
