Go Dive Cenotes en Tulum

Michael was a great chaperon of the Cenotes in Tulum with his knowledge of the area, hospitality, and education of the area. Of all the dive operators in Tulum that I reached out to, Michael was the only one to respond in a timely manner and was accommodating to our needs which included two advanced divers and one open water diver with no experience. He provided training that helped our beginner to achieve confidence at diving, enough to venture into Dos Ojos and have a great time. The cost for diving included pick up and drop off for us in Tulum where we were staying, lunch, education, and fees for Cenote entry and parking. I would highly recommend "Go dive Mexico" if you want a personalized experience with someone who has lived in the area for over a decade and cares about preserving diving and the Eco structure that supports it.

I've used several dive shops in Tulum over the past few years and this was the first time using GoDiveMexico. Their facility was literally a block away from where I was staying making it a great option since I could walk there while my friends could use the shared car since they didn't dive.
My request was fairly last minute but Michael was quick to respond and put me in contact with their manager, Charlie. Charlie was professional, pleasant and excited to go diving the next day.
Even though I could walk there, he picked me up right at 8:15am as planned in front of the house.
I'd chosen to dive The Pit and both Dos Ojos options (3 tank dive). I'd done Dos Ojos several years prior when I was rather green with buoyancy so I wanted to experience it correctly this time around.
The Pit was unreal and Dos Ojos was far more magical than I remembered. Charlie did an excellent job at explaining the routes, times, depths and signals for each dive. I think Charlie had more fun than I did and that's saying a lot because I am still in awe as I type this.
Charlie provided snacks and a freshly made fruit juice blend that helped keep my energy levels up. His excitement was contagious and we had a great time chatting about all kinds of things beyond just diving.
I could not recommend GoDiveMexico more. I will reach out to them every time I come to Tulum to add to my cenote success list.
It goes without saying that the Tulum area's dive community is an extremely close knit family of divers. Everyone knows each other and go out of their way to help make sure all dives are successful and enjoyable. It was an honor to be a part of that community if just for an afternoon.
I 100% recommend GoDiveMexico for any of your diving needs while staying in the area.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Michael was a fantastic guide. This was my first time cavern diving and he made sure I was comfortable and gave a very thorough briefing. I can’t recommend Go Dive Mexico enough! If you book with them, you will have a fantastic experience.

We initially planned a day of private introductory cenote dives with Go Dive Mexico for March of 2020.
But due to the pandemic all travel plans fell apart and multiple times unfortunately and Michael was super awesome and accommodating in making adjustments to the plans as needed.
Finally we made it to Tulum and yesterday we were able to dive the cenotes with Go Dive Mexico. Our instructor Shannon was very knowledgeable, patient, nice and attentive. She explained every step of the process, went over hand signals, had extra flash lights and all needed safety equipment with her, and left nothing to guesswork. This was our first time doing any kind of cavern diving and it was very comforting to know what to expect before we got into the water.
Shannon was not only a great cave diving instructor, she was also very knowledgeable to talk to about the cenotes and their history in general.
If you are looking for a dive shop in Tulum area that is well run, does things by the book, is knowledgeable and experienced, and consists of nice people Go Dive Mexico is that shop.
Every interaction we have had with Go Dive Mexico (from the initial plannings to the actual dives) has been very positive. We felt very safe during the entire experience and had an amazing time.
It was actually our anniversary yesterday and we couldn’t have picked a better adventure and a better dive shop to spend our day with.

Amazing diving experience in the Pit and dos ojos cenotes! Was fortunate to go diving alone with the awesome Shannon who is an expert at diving and knows a lot of about the cenotes. My favorite was the Pit and I wish I had the time to have done another day of diving with her. Great experience. Highly recommended.

Diving with Mike was so relaxing and a lot of fun.
I was visiting Tulum, and got to dive on two separate days with him.
He is so knowledgeable of all the cenotes in the area. He gave me very detailed descriptions of what each one had to offer so I was able to make a decision on where to dive. He is so patient and answered all my questions. This was my first time ever diving in a "real" cave, and I was a little nervous, but he made me feel at ease and was extremely professional. I highly recommend diving with Mike. In addition to being so informative about the cenotes, he was also able to give great recommendations about what to see in Tulum and the Yucatan as a whole. Excellent experience and you won't be disappointed. Go Dive Mexico is the BEST! Thanks Mike!

This is my second dive with Go Dive Mexico, and each time I have a better time then the last! This time we did cenote Dos Ojos. The staff is very attentive to your needs, and level of comfort as a diver. They have taken time to help me with my equipment (just got new gear 😅). They ensure you are comfortable at all stages of the Dive no matter your experience and they are like friends at this point! If you come to Tulum look no further! This is your Dive family. Had a great time diving Dos Ojos and The Pit! Michael was an excellent guide and a great diver tons of cave and tech experience. He was knowledgeable and professional making the experience informative, fun, and easy. Handled transportation and provided snacks and water between dives. Highly recommended Go Dive Mexico in Tulum for any guiding and cavern or cave training you want to check out!

I had the good fortune to go diving with Mickey and the crew in Tulum. Firstly Micky is a highly experienced cave diver and dive instructor. He was full of knowledge, while making sure safety was adhered to. He was also great craic!!! (fun in irish) and a really lovable kind character. The tours were well organised and time effective and the equipment was in perfect condition. The Cenotes in Tulum are a once in a lifetime opportunity!!!! All in All, highly recommended, sound tour company. Thumbs up from me !!!! Thanks very much Mickey and Catch you sometime again.
