Zack was our tour guide and he was very personable and made our experience fun. He was very knowledgeable about the river and the area.

This was a very relaxing trip down the river. Carver was very informative and fun. It was a great way to get away from the crowds of the national parks.

This was so much fun! Zach was an awesome tour guide and was very knowledgeable about the area. We took our three kids and my older parents and everyone had a blast!

It was a very relaxing float trip. We saw so many bald eagles pointed out by our guide Leo.
He was great, allowing the younger folks a chance to row. So sweet!!

Our guide was Griffin and he was great. Everything from pick up to return to the lot was organized and stress free. Ride was awesome, weather was perfect and trip was memorable 😊👍🏻

Caravan arranged the Lower River Float Trip for us. We were picked up at the Jackson Lake Lodge and taken to Moose for the River Launch. There were 46 of us in 4 boats. Our boat held 12 and was somewhat packed. Steve, a riverman of 50 years was our boatman/guide. We were on the lower Snake river while this company also takes people on middle snake. Times were 6:30, 8:00 and 2:30PM. The earlier times would have been chilly and they had blankets for their customers. The temperature for our trip was very comfortable so shortsleeves and shorts were sufficient.
This rafting doesn't require any paddling, some minor splashing may occur and water shoes/sandals are not required but useful since you may get your shoes wet getting out of raft at end.
Getting into the raft was easy, you step up on the trailer and then down into the raft. I was little clumsy since the raft floor bounces somewhat . Steve, our Guide, started rowing and we got stuck for awhile and had to do popcorn, bouncing up and down until we got dislodged from the rock. The rest of trip no problems.
Steve having been boatman for 50 years knew allot about river and history. He explained rafting, the wildlife we may see and answered many general questions about river.
We were lucky during the 3 hr trip we saw beaver, eagles, osprey, moose, bear, deer,elk and many birds. Don't expect to see the same animals since it is just luck of timing. All of us enjoyed the time and Steve was a great guide.

Very kid friendly! We had a 4 year old and a 7 year old. Saw tons of eagles and a marmot. It was SO worth it!! If you’re hesitant to do whitewater due to children, this will be a great alternative!

Zak was so awesome and informative. He worked well with the kids on the boat as well as a handicapped person! He was full of knowledge and it was a beautiful day!

My son died unexpectedly two months ago. My little sister was here visiting me from California. She loves birds of prey and was so excited to see so many bald eagles, and their nests. I especially enjoyed watching her face light up every time she saw one.
Our guide, Carver was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable and very personable.
The entire experience, from booking online to being dropped off at the parking lot after the float was outstanding. Great communication throughout the entire process. I’d give them more than 5 ⭐️.
