The tour and service was excellent, I recommend it. He was personal and very friendly, he helped us a lot and made our trip pleasant.

We used them twice on our trip. Once from port to hotel and again from hotel to airport. Both times the drivers were punctual, courteous, and frrendly. The vans are very comfortable and made the trip pleasant
I would highly reccommend them.

We had a wonderful tour with Albertina. Her father was our drive and he was on time to pick us up from the ship. He showed us many sights and was very flexible regarding locations and time. I highly recommend Albertina for your tours!

Hiring a private driver is the only way to cover as much Rome as possible in a day. He arranged skip the line tours at both the Coliseum and Vatican that fit perfectly. If nothing else, it gave our family members a list of reasons to return.

We had a group of six including two children and two seniors taking cruise Oasis of the Seas and we wanted to do a private tour of Rome from Civitavecchia. We booked "Private Tour Rome" and were a little worried since we don't need to put down any deposits. Once we met Albertina, all our worries went away - she is fantastic and very knowledgable. We had a very tight schedule since we booked inside tour of Colosseum at 10am and Vatican Museum at 1pm. However, Albertina managed to squeeze all other important point of interests into our tight itinery and we got to see Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Piazza Venezia, Vatican, as well as the fantastic view of Rome from Gianicolo, one of the seven Roman hills!

We booked a private tour of Rome with Albertina Cottuno. We were able to see more of Rome with her private tour and she took my husband and I to a quaint Italian restaurant for lunch. We really enjoyed the tour. She really knew her way around the city. Albertina was also very nice and pleasant to be with.

My wife and I were booked on an MSC cruise in February that went into Civitavecchia (which is over an hour away from Rome) and were looking for the best way to maximize our single day in the city. After careful research we decided to contact Albertina from Private Tour Rome and it turned out to be the very best choice we could have made! Contact between Albertina and us was prompt and efficient and she addressed each and every desire and hope for our day in Rome. Her sister Flavia met us at the cruise terminal and was waiting for us when we got off the ship at 8am. She whisked us away to Rome and it seemed like we were standing at the base of the Colosseum in no time. She helped negotiate a perfect tour of the Colosseum and the day was off to a perfect start. She told us where she'd be waiting for us at the end of our tour and sure enough, she was there; the whole day was like that! She made sure not a minute was wasted and that each moment was packed with all the sites we wanted to see. We were amazed at her efficiency and amazing ability to negotiate the streets of Rome with ease and mastery. In one day we explored the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, the Piazza Navona plus some expertly targeted shopping for my wife, a superb meal at a non-touristy Roman restaurant (we're serious foodies) and, to top it all off, she managed to get us to the Vatican on a Sunday to hear and the Pope speak and receive his blessing! Not only did we have the perfect day in Rome and maximized every minute we had on our one day, but she got us back to the ship at precisely when we had to be there to get back on. We are so very, very impressed with their service and we have even hired them for my parents' trip to Rome in April. I have used Trip Advisor many times over the years and have never been so compelled to write a review than for Private Tour Rome. If you have only one day in Rome and are coming into Civitavecchia on a cruise, this is THEE way to do it right! It's a truly magnificent service and I highly recommend it to anyone on their way to Rome!

Myself & my boyfriend were on a cruise last september with a one day stop over in Rome.
We had organised this private tour with Albertina, this was very easy to organise and from the friendly responses i got, put me at easy.
We were collected from the Port by Flavia, this tour was amazing, we seen more sights that we even anticipated. Flavia brought us literally right on the door step of each of the sights and waited for a long as we wanted to spend. Nothing was too much of a hassle for her and was always waiting with a smile and onto the next site. Flavia even brought us to a fabulous italian restaurant for lunch.
When we got back to the ship, we realised we had seen so much more than people on the cruise excursions had. Exhausted but happy, one of the best tours of my life, Highly recommend

We were two couples in Civitavecchia port on 13 September 2018. We had pre-booked a private van with Albertina and contact was very professional with helpful advice. On the day Guiseppe was our driver. I can't speak highly enough of him - really he was so knowledgeable. We had such a full day - Guiseppe took us to all the main attractions of Rome and he navigated the streets so easily. He also recommended a local restaurant for lunch to try the traditional pasta. Thanks so much Guiseppe - would highly recommend this service

We arrived in Civitavecchia on board the cruise ship, MSC Divina. As this was our first time in Rome we wanted a private tour that could cram as many of the beautiful sites as possible in a day. Our driver/guide Albertina, picked us up just outside the ship and she proceeded to provide us with the most comprehensive and relaxed tour we could ever ask for. We got back to our ship on time and extremely satisfied with what we had experienced, we will go home with some ever lasting memories.
