Enjoyable hour of Vietnamese traditional stories. Live music & singing. We got the headsets so we knew what the stories were all about. Pre booking tickets made the process quick on arrival, would recommend doing this as it was very busy.

Review on the Asia Travel company, not the show itself.
Ordered VIP ticket online. When showed up for the show, the ticket the company had secured was not VIP (and of course no notice ahead of time). Had no time to go another day, so accepted the ticket and was told I'd be issued a refund for the difference.
Regular seat was obstructed view, and the refund the company issued was less than the cost different between the ticket types. I don't have the patience or time to go dispute with them a few dollars. Do yourself a favor and book with someone else, or just buy the tickets on the spot.

The price is an absolute disgrace. At the box office you don't even pay half for a ticket. We went to the show at 4:10 p.m. and there was nothing going on at the ticket counter. Even with this booking you have to go to the ticket counter to get your ticket. Pure rip-off.

Please don't be the kind that blocks the view of others by trying to film with your phone. Just sit back and enjoy the great show. Others were late and were let in once the show had started. These behaviours wouldn't be allowed elsewhere, it spoils what otherwise would be a great experience.

2 yr old daughter loved it. She was amazed at everything. Wife loved it too. Really a great show. My expectations were pretty low, but this was way better than I thought. A lot of fun to see and the performance was very professional. Recommend getting premium seats if you have a small child, otherwise, I think the view is good from anywhere.
Skip the line was great as it assured we got in to the show that worked for us and there is a person outside the ticket office that will provide you your ticket.

Great show and a must do in Hanoi. In a convenient location by the lake where you can see a temple as well. It was interesting that humans were actually in the water behind the scenes operating the puppets.

The show itself isn't bad. All in Vietnamese but it's easy to understand the story and I think you can get headset translators. If you know a little bit of Vietnamese history you'll get the stories. The puppetry is pretty impressive, and the music very traditional. It's well worth a look if you're in Hanoi. They offer cushions for shorter people as the seating means you may have someone's head in your view but it's not too bad.
The skip the line part wasn't so great - we paid quite a lot more for tickets, which we couldn't get until 10 minutes before the show, and we couldn't actually select our seats, so we were in Row D or Row 4 depending on who you asked. As a result it was a little hard to see. But at least the person turned up, and they had also called earlier to ask us to change our booking to a later show as they had overbooked earlier.

The puppet show itself was well worth it. Entertaining and a unique, cultural experience.
DO NOT BOOK WITH ASIA TRAVEL LEGEND. They sold us services that don't even exist and we paid 4x the cost of ticket value.

We heard great things so was excited to go, however we left bored and disappointed. The 1 hour show was all in Vietnamese which we weren’t expecting. The first 10 minutes was exciting but then the novelty quickly wore off.
