Beware - this trip is not as advertised at all. The only reason I did not give it one star is that the driver (Ira) was a very nice guy and was very apologetic and tried to be helpful. There is no paragliding at Gudari (the season has not started yet), there is no cable car ride at the ski area (only operates in winter), no visit to Kobi, no waterfall or National Park visitor's center. And certainly no locally made Georgian wine. The driver who was hired out by the tour company had not been told any of the details of what was promised for the trip and was shocked when I showed it to him. He had been told to take me to Kazbegi and that's it. He took me to the stops he could and tried to call the company that hired him to ask what to do. But outrageous that Viator allows a tour to be posted which does reflect at all what is advertised.

There is no bad time to visit Kazbegi, apart from the rare occasion in winter when the roads are closed and the town is unreachable. I've been lucky enough to visit Kazbegi in every season and it's amazing how much the landscape and the feel of the place changes throughout the year.

this was a relaxed and enjoyable day trip- plus the landscapes and atmosphere of this region are unforgettable. Bose was my guide for the day, and he’s a kind companion who made effort to keep everything comfortable. communication with the tour company is good too, so overall i’d really recommend booking this tour! oh, and add the option for a Truso Valley hike if you have time. trust me, it’s love.

Very knowledgeable tour guide. The drive was enjoyable because of the guide, in addition to the amazing scenery. Flexible agenda and able to request stops along the way. Company was very flexible in arranging a last minute tour request (2am the evening before). 5 stars.

This tour had a paragliding option for an additional $100 and a guided quad tour for $50. Pretty good experience all in all.

Loved this tour! We had so much fun with our guide Georgi! It was an unforgettable day, so much fun and the mountains were stunning! Would definitely recommend, if you're in Tbilisi it's a must do!
