Canyoning is a sport that is booming a little bit everywhere around the world. It begins with a short hike to the upper mouth of a canyon to then descend into the creek bed while passing obstacles we find on our way. In this adventure you will rappel down hiden waterfalls, shoot down natural slides and jump into deep pools.
Okanagan Canyoning tours are offered by Western Canyoning Adventure that has been operating for 5 years in the Rockies. The mix of the knowledge of our local guides and the expertise of an already well established structure is allowing us to bring you in to those magical places that are canyons in the Kelowna area.
No need for previous experience to come on a trip with us. Our fully certified guides are here to teach you everything you need to know and provide all the specific gear.

My boyfriend and I came to Kelowna from Texas to attend a wedding and decided to make a trip of it. Our experience with Matt was hands down the BEST part of our trip! This was a journey like no other we’ve taken before.
It was a cool 54 degrees when we began our hike up! The canyon was magical and looked as if it was straight out of a movie. We made our way through the water and along side a small cliff where we completed our first free hang down to a lower part of the canyon. After that moment we surrendered ourselves to the experience putting our full trust in Matt. He is incredibly knowledgeable and truly makes you feel safe, even being so far out of your comfort zone.
We came down a small zip line over a beautiful waterfall where we had the option to do a plunge into the water. Matt was patient with me as I stood there contemplating my jump. I finally did it and it was INCREDIBLE!!!
Matt took many beautiful photos for us so we didn’t have to worry about bringing our phones along.
For anyone wondering or nervous, just do it. We had no experience doing anything like this and Matt was able to guide us through without incident. He provides all the equipment necessary, including a helmet. I would recommend a good pair of shoes that can get wet without being too heavy on your feet. Bring a backpack with some towels and dry clothes to change into afterwards. You won’t have to carry it around during your experience but you will be able to leave it at the canyon entry point for when you return. Matt has a little changing tent you can get into to change into your dry clothes. Show up in whatever you’re going to wear under your wet suit. Swim suit, leggings/tight clothing etc. loose fitting clothes won’t do well under the wet suit.

I've lived in the Okanagan my whole life and experienced so much it has to offer, but I have NEVER experienced the Okanagan like this! The experience was so exhilarating. Matt was a fantastic guide, so knowledgeable. I had an amazing time and I will be booking in again!

Rushing water, repelling down 7 meter cliffs, and sliding into water falls.
This was such a cool, experience!! Will 100% be adventure to their other locations & honestly would do this exact location again!!
As locals to the Okanagan, we were shocked this was in our backyard! We knew waterfalls were around & cool scenery, but WOW.
MATT WAS AMAZING, FUNNY, AND SO KIND! Would spend more days with him for sure!

This is an activity everyone should have on their Okanagan bucket list! Yes we have wineries and plenty of breweries, but we also have plenty of outdoor fun to enjoy. It’s about $170 per person for 4 hours of canyoning, which is a really good price for everything you get. There were three rapells/ziplines in total, and a natural waterslide at the very end. This is the perfect activity to escape the heat!

Went by myself to experience something new and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Will definitely be doing this again, the crew was so friendly and worked with everyones ability to go through the canyon

Amazing and unique experience! It is not everyday you get to rappel down waterfalls and feel completely safe with the help of experienced guides. Would do it again for sure and would recommend to everyone I know. You guys Rock Okanagan Canyoning!
