The tunnels are a great destination located 70 km from the Ho Chi Minh City Center to the Northwest. Cu Chi was known as the “area of steel” in the war time, and the tunnel systems were over 200km, which was considered the unbreakable underground village in the Vietnam-American war. It is legendary for its network of tunnels, and is a popular destination for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors.

Very interesting visit to these tunnels, so important in the history of war. Very well explained the background and every detail of the organization of the Vietnamese guerrillas in the area near Saigon. Entering the tunnels is a magnificent experience. Thanks to Ms. Duyên for the kindness and detailed explanation. A very pleasant visit.

Amazing day tour to the warriors place: Cu Chi Tunnel
I booked the half-day tour of the Cu Chi tunnels with my hotel, they connected with our tour ( VN Bikes) guide.
I highly recommend it. I did the tour with Beautiful Flower (XUYEN) and Mr. love.
They made the tour great and very personal. She explained in complete detail about the place and was really kind.
If you like history of Vietnam war, you'll be very impressed with the tour. It is very eye-opening.

We booked our tour with Asiana Link travel and our tour guide was Slim Jim. The tour was very enjoyable, Slim Jim was so knowledgable and attentive! Would highly recommend him and Asiana Link Travel

Very good and beautiful visit where we learn a lot of things and we can see reality in the face. Small downside for us who don't speak English but we understand that it's not easy to understand everything. But we had a very nice guide who still tried to explain something to us. I recommend XUYEN Thank you very much ❤️

Our guide was a very fun guide. He was very knowledgeable about the tunnels. He was also a very fun and funny guide. He made a sad time of history very informative. Sorry i do t remember our guide name, i need to write these things much sooner….

This tour was unreal. We learnt so much, specifically due to the knowledge of our tour guide Tuan who fought in the war and could give us insight. Tuan and our driver Mr. Kim made our experience amazing. The bus is incredibly comfortable, they give you water, and take you to a lovely lunch spot for the morning tour. You get to explore a small bit of the tunnels (they’re VERY small btw!!) and see some of the contraptions they created in the war. So worth the trip, and a great tour if you have limited time and can’t go for a whole day.

Very sobering reminder of the atrocities of war, in my lifetime. All six of us left asking WHY, and somewhat sad.
That said wouldn’t have missed it.
Do some homework on the Vietnam war before you go, especially this area.

Hien was our guide for a great tour of the Cu Chi tunnel system. He was very knowledgeable of the area and provided a young person’s perspective of life in Saigon as well. Thoroughly enjoyable!
