I had the rudest interaction with our driver/"host" on the Muir, Sausalito, Alcatraz tour.Another nice employee led us to his bus where he did not greet us or anything, just started driving. Made a stop to pick up others without saying what he was doing. As the other people were loading they had tickets in their hands. He stepped off the bus without saying anything again. I stepped off and went to ask him if I should have tickets too.
Turns out he was taking a smoke. Before I even said anything he yelled, Get back on that bus! What are you doing?!?I said I was just wondering if I should have tickets too. He said I will explain everything when we get going! (Not sure how I was to know that he would eventually talk to all of us since he hadn't said a word.)
Very strange, seemed annoyed all day and never interacted as a typical tour driver would.
Yes, he got us places safe and did know some interesting facts, but for the amount of money , we expected a "leader" who greeted us, informed us, didn't seem annoyed all day, and certainly didn't yell at people who asked a question as they sat in silence wondering what was going on as he hopped off and took a smoke.
Also just ranted off some directions for how to get our tickets at alcatraz as he dropped us off. A group of us found our way to the ticket area and still had to wait 2 hours for the tour.
Of course, there is also the issue of needing to find our own way back to our hotel, but at least we kind of knew about that.
I can only kind of recommend this tour. It all turned out ok, because we just stayed positive, but I think others considering this tour should know that it may not be like any other day tour you have taken...especially if you have that driver.

I booked a tour to Muir Woods (San Francisco) with Mustsee.world, and it resulted in a ruined day filled with stress.
The instructions stated to meet at 8:30 AM outside Cafe Encore (488 Post St). We arrived at 8:25 AM and joined a line of people who appeared to be waiting for a tour as well. Across the street, we noticed a black van, which left at 8:34 AM. We realized too late that this was our vehicle, as it had no logos or signs indicating it belonged to Mustsee.world, and no one from the company checked the line for passengers.
In a panic, I enabled roaming on my phone to call their office. After initially reaching voicemail, I eventually spoke to someone who informed me nothing could be done and abruptly hung up. On my third call, I was told:
* It was my fault for not having a phone number that supports calls (only had sim card with data).
* They could not accommodate us in any other time slot available for us.
* No refund would be issued as the tour is non-refundable.
This experience highlights several organizational failures:
* Instructions that do not match the actual meeting procedure.
* Vehicles without any identifying marks.
* No effort from the staff to check for passengers - neither a driver nor a guide bothered to step out of the vehicle even for a second to check the line.
* The vehicle left after only a 4-minute wait.
* Unapologetic and negligent customer service.
I would not recommend Mustsee.world due to their overall disorganization and negligence.

WHile Alcatraz is an interesting mirror looking into our past, Muir Woods is an amazing place to walk among the nature, its majestic trees, and if you are luck, see some wild life too.
Its a great walk through the California Redwoods - they are inpressive, amazing and so calming.

Worth it!! Definitely recommend going to the Muir Woods first as it was still calm and not full of people. The whole park was absolutely breathtaking as were the views on the drive there and back. Sausalito was adorable with enough time to grab some lunch. The Alcatraz experience was informative and captivating with the most incredible views. William was a great guide! He was friendly, informative and had lots of great recommendations.

Dustin did an excellent job narrating the tour to the Golden Gate Bridge, Muir Woods, and Sausalito. Alcatraz was self-guided. Overall, this tour makes for a great day and you can be back to your hotel just before dinner!

We didn’t know until the day before that the Alcatraz tour is unescorted but it makes perfect sense! They pick you up after and then there’s 14-16 in a sprinter van. Good to meet others from around the globe. Great stop for photos of Golden Gate bridge. Muir Woods is great. Additional $15 per adult not included to walk the 1 hr trail. Then sweet cute Sausalito where you have an hour to eat and shop. Great tour. Love our guide Dustin.
