4. Piazza di Santa Maria v Trastevere
Take your spritz to the beautiful piazza next door where you'll see the Basilica of Our Lady. This is said to be the oldest church dedicated to the Virgin Mary in Rome and it was probably the first official place of Christian worship.

We booked this tour so that we could enjoy Trastevere to its fullest - to have the local experience - and we were not disappointed. Our guide Antonina was amazing - great knowledge of local food, wine and history. She made the small group feel really comfortable with each other and before the night was over we were already all friends. Highly recommended tour and one of our highlights of our trip

Alex, our tour guide, was fabulous! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. All the food and drinks we tried were delicious! I particularly loved our stop at an old family-owned restaurant with the best carbonara I ever tried. This was a great activity for our first day in Rome, and we appreciated the tips for the rest of our stay.

Manuela was a delight! Loved this tour and the neighborhood. Very glad we did this just sorry it was our last night in Rome. Big recommendation for young or old— but better if you’re appreciate delicious wine, spritzes, and food!

The tour itself is good, going down the back areas that you would not usually see, makes you feel slightly local.

The wine and alcohol on this is very good too, some of the wines are excellent.

But the food was not and is very poor, don't go on this for the food or if you enjoy food. If it wasn't for the street food at the start I would have been very hungry.

The food was very poor, and had to leave most due to poor qualities. This was our last evening and the only food in our entire trip that was not enjoyable.

Enjoyed walking through the lively Trastevere area trying different stops
for authentic Italian foods. Our guide was informative and the food was really tasty. Tried a few new Italian dishes even though we had been Italy for two weeks. Highly recommend !

This was one of our favorite tours we did while in Italy! Our guide, Aurelio was amazing!!! Best guide hands down. He was super informative and we had so much fun. Some of the best spots in town. It was a lot of food and wine go hungry! Everything was really good!
