We were pushed off to 3 different tour guides. Falsely claiming we were on wrong tour. Finally ended up on an old old boat and we were the only passengers. Tour guide was nice and spoke some English. Paid for snorkeling tour to include three 3 snorkeling sites but was only taken to 2 sites and snorkeling at each site for less than 30 minutes.

First of all, this was a very well run excursion. The tour guide/coordinator did an amazing job of getting us to where we needed to be. However, as Americans, we were a little out of our element as we were the only English speakers in the group. The snorkeling boat was not fancy but it served the purpose. The crew spoke limited English but enough to communicate what we needed to know. We visited three reefs and the snorkeling was amazing. Keep in mind that the lunch restaurant is a couple miles from the downtown area and ferry terminal. You either need to take a taxi or walk back. We chose to walk as there is a very nice sidewalk that goes along the shore. We stopped at a couple bars for drinks on the way back so it wasn’t a bad trek. Overall, it wasn’t as upscale as we are used to but it gave us a good feel for the local culture.

Great snorkeling experience. Friendly crew. Everything on time. But the offered lunch is subpar to say the least. My wife’s fish wasn’t fully cocked, my pork fajita was the worst I had in Mexico.
I definitely recommend the trip I say skip the offered lunch and treat oneself with with a good meal after the swim. There are too many other good options.
