João was amazing! great tour and showed us so many unique places and great local restaurants. Also a great way to meet other people if you are traveling solo! Highly recommended.

This was a truly wonderful tour, made all the better by our amazing guide, Gabriel.
We started the tour with coffee and pastries and then went on to sample cheese and wine. After this Gabriel took us to an incredible market where we were treated to fish, meat and more wine! Afterwards he took us for what he classes as the best pastel de nata in the city. Following this we went for lunch. This was bifanas, a traditional pork sandwich (delicious!), and beer. The tour finished with a glass of Port and some magic tricks from Gabriel!
I highly recommend this tour. The array of things we got to sample was staggering and incredibly good value for money.

Merece la pena. João es fantástico y con conocimientos profundos de la ciudad, su cultura, y su comida y bebida. Además, él es muy divertido. Diferentes bebidas (vinos, cervezas, oportos y moscatel). Variedad de tapas y platos. Muy recomendable!

Grenaldo was absolutely wonderful, entertaining as well as knowledgeable. My son and I had the most amazing time.
The others on the tour were super fun to be around as well.

My tour was with the wonderful and magicak Granado! Not only was he very knowledgeable about Porto history and the importance of the events that formed it, he had an in depth knowledge of the food and locations we went to. I've done a food tour before but this one was very different and very funny and I enjoyed it so much with my mother. I would do this tour again with him specifically since he's so great and has an excellent sense of humor!

João was a very good guide. We are and drank a lot of tasty food. Our favorites were the cod salad, pastel de Nata, port wine and the cheeses. He did a great job explaining the history of the foods and wines and we didn’t feel rushed. We would recommend this tour!
