Porto Food & Local Drinks Evening Tour by Food Lover Tour

This was an evening tour. We went to 4 venues and had different food and drinks in each place.
Learned about Porto, the food and drinks as well as the venues. All in short walking distance.
Gabriel was a super host who also entertained us with his magic tricks.
Highly recommended.

The tour with Joao was fabulous.

He was knowledgeable, funny and very pleasant. There was just our group of four, we ate great food, met great small business owner and had wonderful wine and liquor.

This tour was a perfect introduction for our first day in Porto.

Joao, do not forget us if you ever come to Canada.

The Porto Pestico and Wine tour exceeded our expectations! Isabelle was a fabulous guide. Her knowledge of and passion for Porto was contagious. We loved exploring the local foods and wines. It was one of the highlights of our trip. I would highly recommend this tour and especially Isabelle!

We booked this tour based on the great reviews and it really did not disappoint. We had such a great evening with our lovely host Marion, who was very knowledgeable and a delight.
8 of us had come to Porto for a weekend and this was a great way to see places we wouldn’t have found and try some food that the locals eat. The drinks were plentiful too, we visited 4 venues and had food and drink in each one, the last one being dessert and dessert wine. My favourite was a lovely bar where we had fantastic fish canapés and vinho verde to drink.
This was a fantastic tour with a wonderful guide. We would highly recommend it.

This tour was such a delight! Arnaldo was so informative and the food and places he took us were amazing. Learned so much about Portos history and local foods. Highly recommend!

João gave a wonderful tour of four locations. Each had two or three dishes to eat along with either wine, port or beer. Nice group of 11 people. Recommended for early in your visit so you can leverage what you learn.

Great tour to do as a solo traveller so you don’t have to eat dinner on your own. Plenty of Portuguese cuisine, lovely drinks and the guide was very informative. The group were really good fun

I would recommend this to anyone coming to porto! It was so fun, we learned so much not only about the city but also the way of life here, and most importantly there was a ton of great food and drinks. I loved everything we tried and each location was different from the one before. It was very well rounded. Even more our guide João was so knowledgeable and passionate, it really made the tour feel special like he was showing his friends around the city. It's a much more unique and eye opening experience then a standard tour, and was really one of my highlights from visiting Porto.

We met up with Joäo at the appointed time and place and walked about 2 block to our first stop while learning some local facts. The foods and wines /spirits were local specialties and completely different at each of four stops we walked to. The foods were customized for me as I an pescatarian. My partner eats pork which was in some of the dishes. We enjoyed learning about the history of each dish and drink, and everything was wonderful to taste!
