This wonderful day tour takes 4 to 5 hours, and it starts at the port-city of Tangier or any other address you indicate in the city. We first go visit by walking into the old Medina to discover the real Tangier and it 5 old squares. and The last stage is visiting Cap Spartel and Belvedere panoramic and prehistoric site, with a pause from time to time to take pictures of the villages and forests on both sides, the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean. Highlight of our week in Tangier! We absolutely loved doing this tour and would recommend it to anyone who wants to do an experience in Tangier. Our guide Abu was brilliant - super friendly, helpful, considerate, kind and knowledgeable. He was flexibility with his time, which ment a lot considering our busy schedule. He took us around the oldest neighborhoods in Tangier, the kasbah & different markets at the Medina. We had a perfect mix of picking different things at the market stands and also ample time to take photos as he was very generous with his time. We had a chance to have Moroccan tea at a beautiful site and eat good Moroccon food at one of the restaurants in the area. Thank you again Abu, you were outstanding!

This was by far my favorite part of my time in Tangier. Abu is the best tour guide and made my time here so memorable. He is very knowledgeable and kind and makes the tour so fun. He went above and beyond to make the trip unforgettable. We saw the main sites and all the must see parts of Tangier, ate amazing food, and experienced amazing parts of the market. He is also a great photographer. 😊 I would highly recommend his tour experience to anyone who is interested in a guided tour of the city.

Where do we begin! Abu was a well spoken, well educated licensed tour guide. He made our day in Tangier a day we will cherish. We do plan on a return trip in the not so distant future and will spend it with him no doubt. Accommodating, knowledgeable, personable, polite just to name a few of his attributes. For us it’s the kind of guide we love to have, he knows the neighborhoods, streets, people and alleys all over the city. He took us on the outskirts and deep into the heart of the neighborhoods. It was fantastic!! I couldn’t imagine a return trip with anyone but him. Truly a great guy.

We love private tours and this one was wonderful! Other guests on our ship didn't have a nice time in Tangier. :( We loved it and can't wait to go back, and this was all because our private tour guide, ABU, made our day super interesting! He met us at the pier in his spotless beautiful car and drove us all over the place! We saw were the Atlantic and Mediterranean meet, rode camels on the beach, ate local food, didn't get lost in the Medina, did some shopping, kissed a snake and didn't miss our ship! All while getting a history lesson and soaking up a new culture! Plus we made a new friend along the way! Thank you Abu!

I went on a tour of Tangier with eight people and Abu as our guide. He picked us up at the ferry terminal, had a very comfortable van, and was professional. As we were driving to different sites, he gave us a lot of information about Tangier and the different things we were passing. I have been on a few different tours of Tangier, and Abu gave more information about the city than anyone else I have been with. At the beginning of the tour, Abu asked what we wanted to do with the day and we told him sightseeing and shopping. At one point we stopped to sit down for coffee and snacks. After being on several tours, I have a pretty good idea of the timeline required to do everything we wanted to in Tangier. I asked Abu if this would cut into our shopping time and he assured me there would be plenty of time for shopping at the end. We had a great tour and a great lunch, and the first half of our day was wonderful. Abu's tour felt like a guided tour. Very professional and very informative, but I have been on other tours where I felt more like a friend visiting the city. I did not get that feeling on this tour. When it came to shopping, we told Abu that we wanted to look at different gifts to bring home and that we were not interested in the food market. When we started shopping, we were told to follow him and to not stop anywhere other than where he brought us. We wound up wandering around a food market, which wasted shopping time. We went to an argon oil store where none of my group was really interested in seeing a whole presentation about the products. They just wanted to shop. We wound up sitting through a whole presentation about the products. By the time we got out to the stores we had about twenty minutes and we went to one store where the shopkeeper was pushy. I wanted to go somewhere else but we told that we didn't have time. In the end, many of the people in the group left without any of the gifts that they wanted to purchase because they did not like the one shop we were brought to. At the end of the tour Abu got very pushy about writing a review. He talked to every member of the group about it. I had already told him that I would write a good review, and then he started to tell me exactly what I should write. Before that, I was still willing to give a five star review even though I was not thrilled with the shopping experience. But once he told me "You need to give me five stars and write that you have been on four tours of Tangier and this was the best one" I knew I couldn't do that. Because it wasn't my favorite. If you are looking for a very professional tour with a lot of information and sightseeing and food tasting and comfortable travel around the city, Abu is a tour guide for you. If you want to feel like part of the community and have more time for shopping where you do not feel pressured into purchases, there are better tour guides for that sort of trip.

Abu does a wonderful job of providing history and caring for his clients. He also provided us with the name of a hotel to spend the night, which was lovely. He took us to wonderful cafes to eat and experience Moroccan food.

What fabulous luck that American Express assigned Abu to as as private tour guide in Tangiers. He is so gentlemanly, knowledgeable, friendly, and completely fluent in English. We had a fabulous day and saw the city as a local would.
