Unfortunately this was a really bad experience; this was my first ever dive which I was repeatedly reassured would be fine to do so in the water and I did not need to do a course in a swimming pool (or similar) first.
From the get go the attitude was so laid back - fine for divers who knew what they were doing ie checking their fins, masks, etc
but as I didn’t, this was quite scary and uncertain.
On board the boat, all abilities are grouped together and it is your responsibility to find your equipment- I didn’t have a clue, so relied on my partner to tell me what to do.
As someone who suffers with sea sickness and was very nervous, also the ONLY beginner on the boat I felt completely clueless. Out at sea we were told to step off the back. I wasn’t pre warned by my safety diver what the plan of action would be, therefore started going down, unsure of how to properly use the equipment this was even made harder due to my ‘BCD’ not being properly inflated prior to jumping in. I didn’t know how to operate a ‘BCD’, so to just assume it was at the correct level of buoyancy felt extremely presumptuous. It felt they were under the thought I would just “get it”. I had no prior practice and subsequently started choking a few ft down when I had to try and remove my breathing piece as part of the ‘skills test’.
When I came to the surface it was met with “why did you do that” - obviously this made me feel stupid and incapable so I chose to sit back on the boat. When asked if I wanted a second go I was advised it best not to.
Massive waste of money for about 10 minutes in the water.

Jim was a fantastic instructor for my Advanced Open water certification. I enjoyed every moment of our dives. He showed me a lot of the local underwater wild life and gave me insight of what to stay away from. The crew of the whole shop was all very welcoming and helpful.

Great time, alohi vibes! Captain Yoshi and Dylan were great with the wife and kids. Watched all kinds of sea life on a deep dive with the kids (12&13). It was the kids first dive and they were really great with training and safety. Kids are not easy to train with scuba diving I'm sure, but they didn't give up on them and the kids got to dive deep and see the beautiful Hawaiian reefs and sea life. Mahalo guys!

Great dive trip. Nick did a private two tank dive with myself and my two sons, one with his advanced ticket and my eleven year old his first intro to diving. Nick was totally cool/relaxed (kept my son completely calm) but was also super attentive keeping my boys safe (kept the dad completely calm). The boat ride out to the reef was short, so didn’t have to worry too much about a rough ride or sea sickness. To top it off, saw four huge turtles and an eagle ray in addition to of loads of Fish. Not bad for my son’s first experience with diving. We had a great trip, so don’t think you can go wrong with these guys.

My fiancé and I decided to get certified on a whim and signed up for the 2-day course. We were trained by Nick on the first day. I was nervous and almost gave up, but he was patient, gentle and firm and a really good teacher with a lot of experience.
After we got the basics, Jim took us on the deep dives and showed us some really cool stuff. Yoshi drove the boat. He is thorough, helpful and very attentive. Above all, both Jim and Yoshi had confidence in us on the dives which helped me feel more confident for myself.
I am so happy we decided to do this. It is worth the investment and the price was right, much cheaper than other places. All the staff prioritized safety and were so warm and inviting.
Quick Tips: give yourself plenty of time to do your PADI modules, they took us 4+ hours. Remember to keep breathing. Communicate and know your limits but also remember the worst it’s going to get is uncomfortable so push yourself and get down there!

I wouldn't recommend as my wife got sea sick and never used the go pro, there's a no return policy but they could at least accommodate for the go pro and give a free shirt which they didn't want to do. Instead they said we got a 10% off which is actually from the dive itself. They're really after the money

The dive trip was awesome. The crew was very helpful and thorough explaining everything about the dive trip, safety information, as well as general questions. Dive master Christian was awesome and very chill with our group. Saw cool sea life and the two dive were wonderful. Aloha

As a beginner, Staff is very patient and guide you the whole way. They are friendly and I would do it again.
