I had such a great experience with the tour, I was travelling alone and I always felt safe, as they always helped me resolve all issues. The safari was great, and we saw all the big 5 animals.

I had an incredible experience trekking up Mount Kenya, thanks to Hyrax Safaris and their amazing team of guides. The guides, Sam, Patrick, and Simon were exceptional in every way, providing expert guidance and knowledge throughout the journey. Sam's organizational skills ensured our safety and comfort, while Patrick's delicious and nutritious meals kept our energy levels up. Simon's friendly demeanor and willingness to help with anything needed made him an invaluable member of the team and also carried an unbelievable amount of weight up the mountain.
Rose and Daniel from Hyrax Safaris were fantastic in their general logistics, making transportation to and from the mountain a breeze. They also provided great customer service throughout the booking process. I would highly recommend Hyrax Safaris and their team for anyone looking for an unforgettable trekking experience up Mount Kenya.

Me and some friends did the four day mount Kenya trip. Roseline at head office is very organised, and easy to communicate with on WhatsApp. Our guide Daniel was excellent. He was professional but also very friendly and was great company on our expedition. Daniel had been up mount Kenya countless times, and knew how to help me deal with some small altitude sickness. Included in our payment was 8 porters carrying our tents and large bags, and three cooked meals a day by a chef. Always has access to plenty of water. We knew we had chosen a budget trip, so we were very surprised with how amazingly we were treated! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to climb mount Kenya. Amazing experience.

As a three we climbed Mt Kenya up to point Lenana. We had Daniel as our guide and 8 other porters. We had never done altitude climbing and loved the whole experience. Daniel is a great guide with lots of experience and humour, throughout the whole climb he was on top form. The porters were also very good and fun. One part of the trip that surprised us was how amazing the food was, breakfast lunch and dinner were all filling and really tasty. Snacks were also provided as well.
I would recommend Hyrax, Daniel and all the porters to any traveller wanting to climb mount Kenya.
Special mention to: Juma and Sam, who were especially good.

We actually did the 5 day trekking Chogoria up - Sirimon down, would recommend this route for more variety. Unless you are in great condition or/and have experience in high altitude trekking, I would recommend the 5 day trek to be able to enjoy it completely.
Our guide, Daniel was fantastic and the whole team was super, we had amazing food during the whole trek and everybody was very helpful, the team did a great job looking after us by all means.
The views and the landscape are truly amazing, it is definitely worth the trek!

We had a private photo safari in Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru. The tour operator Rosalie was very accommodating and when we had to delay our trip by a day due to covid testing, she rebooked us for the next day and she didn’t charge us extra. She also arranged the pcr testing for our departure from NBO airport by making sure there was a doctor to test us at Lake Nakuru, so we wouldn’t have to return to Nairobi a day early. Peter, our driver and spotter did a great job driving us everywhere, and even though some of the terrain was very challenging, especially after heavy rains, he navigated us perfectly en safely around the immensely beautiful park in his indestructible Toyota 4x4. We saw so many animals, and as a wildlife photographer I managed to capture so many amazing shots of almost every animal. I highly recommend Hyrax , and I will definitely book them again.

Mount Kenya was absolutely stunning and we were looked after so well by all of the porters, our chef Patrick, and our fabulous guides Ben and Kim. Definitely recommend this company as they made our experience so special.
