Rung Sat tourist area is an eco-tourism area which attracts the most tourists among the mangrove biosphere reserves in Can Gio.

I picked this half day tour because it was different from other tours (not a tourist trap), and I was not wrong! Sam - our guide was lovely and very knowledgeable about monkeys and also some history of the army base we have visited at the forest. Of course, monkeys 🐒 🙈 🙊 were the best part of the tour - mischievous and cheeky. I brought some bananas and managed to feed them safely following instructions of the tour guide. Some people did not listen to instructions and had their glasses taken even after they were told a hundred times not to wear them. So please listen to your guide and enjoy!!
Lunch was amazing, and Sam remembered that I was the only vegetarian in the group, so she made sure I was looked after. I am very grateful to Sam for making my day great 👍
Highly recommend this tour.

I had Sam as a tour guide , let me tell you she is amazing her knowledge and personality makes me feel welcomed. She always was in her toes checking on everyone in the group. If you ever get to Ho Chi Mihn City 🇻🇳and get a tour please request her and you will experience how great she is. 👍🏾👍🏾

Great driver and tour guide. Enjoyed seeing the monkeys, had thought we would have seen more but I don’t think they were to hungry so not many about

One improvement for the company, you should write down in your tour, that one boat costs 600.000 VND to get back. You could also walk back if you want, but I can really recommend the boat trip through the mangrove forest! The boat can carry 6 persons so you can split the money, but the company should write that in their information of the tour. Best regards Tobias Raab

Great tour, Johnny was very kind and well prepared, speaks english well. We had a great time! He told us everything about the monkeys as well, so we still have our sunglasses too :)

Do not listen to your guide if they tell you it is fine to feed the monkeys as long as you do it correctly. I wish I’d read up more about this before going as I would have known not to feed them at all. Ended up getting bitten by one of the monkeys towards the end of the trip and a hospital trip once we got back to our hotel which was not pleasant!
