4D3N LOOP TOUR WITH EASY RIDERS ( small group, maximum 10 people)

One of the best experiences of our lives! We booked the small group 4D3N tour and would highly recommend this! My partner and I got put in a group with two other girls and each of us had the sweetest, funniest and kindest easy riders we could have wished for! A special thanks goes to Khuong (Mr. Happy) and Phuong who made the journey extra special for us! The scenery is just beautiful, the homestays are so nice and cozy, the food (they even arranged vegan food for us) was amazing and the activities that our guides planned were so much fun! The drivers were always going quite slow which meant that we always felt very safe and had a better chance enjoying the view. We will never forget this trip, our easy riders, the views and showing Khuong and Phuong a few magic tricks 😄 Phuong even invited us into his home to drink some tea and meet his adorable children! That was such an honor for us! If you want to come to Ha Giang and skip the big crowded super touristy party groups - choose Ha Giang Road Trip - Opi adventure. You will not be sorry! They also let us decide when to come back on the last day and let us shower in their hostel. Everyone was so nice. We met as strangers but felt like left as friends. Thank you!

Most amazing experience.
With a small group, our riders could go into different smaller roads that the big groups couldn’t go, showing us nicer and quieter spots to admire the view
Another advantage of small groups is you can ask to stop at specific spots and do more personalized things (example: stop at the market to buy stuff, go at a lowkey waterfall)
Lemonthai was an amazing guide, very helpfull

Our experience with Bear and Phan was incredible. They guided us through breathtaking views and introduced us to local traditions, making the journey truly enriching. Communication was seamless, as their English proficiency allowed for engaging conversations and plenty of opportunities to ask questions. The culinary experience was a highlight, with delicious Vietnamese food available in abundance, ensuring everyone had more than enough to enjoy. We stayed in two charming homestays and a pleasant hotel, each adding to the comfort and charm of the trip. Bear has a knack for finding perfect photo spots and even entertained us with his impressive karaoke skills, aswell did phan! Throughout the journey, we felt completely safe due to their excellent driving and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring everything was perfect.

There are many Ha Giang tour operators to choose from, but do yourself a favor and book with Opi. We did a 4 day (3n) loop as a couple, and they only cater to small groups or private tours. My rider's name was Lemon Thai, and my partner's easy rider was Thao. Throughout our four days with these two, we felt cared for in every way. They were expert guides, knowledgeable about everything and everywhere we went.

My guide, Lemon Thai, is from the Tay ethnic minority group, which allowed him to provide great insights into the difficulties and challenges many minority groups face in their everyday lives. Apart from cultural insights, both drivers were masters at navigating narrow and difficult terrain on motorcycles, and we always felt 100% safe.

The food on the tour was a pleasant surprise, with big portions of delicious Vietnamese feasts. We enjoyed rice with various veggies, fish, chicken, and other proteins, with a good rotation of different types of protein throughout the tour.

Overall Lemon Thai and Tao made our experience of the Ha Giang loop incredibly special and memorable.

We did the 4D3N Ha Giang tour with Opi’s adventures and we can’t recommend this enough.

It ticked all our boxes: we didn’t want a huge party group, but still wanted some fun in the evening, safety was really important to us, and as close of a local experience as we could. Our guides offered us all of the above. Happy and Dung (our drivers) were the kindest and most caring people you could meet. These guys work so hard to make sure you have a special time. Happy was the tour guide, and his energy and positivity was infectious. What a kind-hearted, genuine, funny and smiley person. We didn’t have the best weather, but he kept our group going on a high positive energy the whole trip. They also made sure we were always very safe - it’s at the top of their priorities and you can’t really feel it. We were a small group (only 3!), which meant we had time to see so many spots and our drivers knew when to go where to beat the crowds. In the evening, we were joined by other small groups which meant we were a good number to enjoy happy water together, play games, socialise and sing to karaoke if we wanted to. Our home stays were honestly perfect too. Super clean, private and comfortable. We were always given our private room.

So so worth it, you won’t regret it! Thank you Happy and Dung for this unforgettable trip. We already miss you and will never forget ❤️ we feel emotional that the trip came to an end. Thank you for sharing your positive energy with us.

-Every day was a succession of beautiful scenery.
-The food was delicious and filling (We couldn't finish it all)
-The drivers were friendly and considerate.
-The tour didn't just cover nature, it also included visiting the mansions of former wealthy person and playing in the river.

This tour outlived all of my expectations. First of all, my driver Thao was the sweetest ever. His smile just melts my heart every time. 🥹 I fully trusted his driving & never had a moment of fear or danger throughout the 4 days. The accommodations for the 3 nights were a homestay, hotel and homestay. The homestays were all hosted by people of different tribes which made it even more interesting. Also the hotel on the second day was a good idea to catch up on some sleep. My group was the dream team, 3 solo traveling girls. So it felt more like a private tour. Also cannot forget to mention our guide Happy. He is a funny, sarcastic ball of energy. If you’re lucky to get him as your guide, you will have a blast for sure. I’m super grateful for this experience! Many thanks to our drivers 💞

The experience of the loop with Ha Giang Road Trip was truly amazing, from start to end.

Opi was very quick to respond for the booking and very helpful. He answered all our questions and even took care of our transfer from Hanoi (at the beginning) and to Ninh Binh (at the end). We were very confident with our choice from the very first contact with the agency.

We arrived in Ha Giang in the middle of the night (around 3am) and we were able to spend the rest of the night at the Lucky House to get some rest before the tour began. The room was clean and the beds were very confortable.

As for the tour... what an exceptional experience ! We had the chance to be a group of only 2 people, my boyfriend and me (+ our drivers of course !). Our drivers were Lemon Thai and Van. In addition to being extremely nice, they were very good drivers. We felt safe and comfortable during the whole tour. They brought us to many "secret" roads and viewpoints that many other tour guides do not took tourists to. We were able to have such an authentic experience :) Thai explained to us many things about the landscapes, the local culture and the traditions of Ha giang people and it made our experience all the more special.

All the restaurants in which we ate were delicious and the homestays and hotels were all clean and comfortable. The owners were all adorable and made sure we weren't missing anything. The food they prepared us was so good, and we spent great evenings in their companies.

And of course, the landscapes were all so magical... We spent 4 days marvelling at every landscape we saw. Ha giang is without doubt one of the most beautiful places we've ever seen !!

Such an amazing experience, that we will for sure never forget 🫶

The tour was very nice. The nature and the views were astonishing.
Our small group of five people had a great time. Thanks to our guide Lemonthai we always were well taken care of. He is so funny and he knows how to dance. My easy rider MINH really knows how to drive. He was always focused on the road and avoided almost every bump and made it pleasant to sit on the bike even for a longer time. We made enough stops. The atmosphere in the homestays was good, and they took special care for the couples. Would do it again.,

We’ve had an amazing time. The views were insanely beautiful. The trip was well organized, safety first, good food and overnight places. It was a lifetime experience. The tour guide (we loved our time with Lemon-Thai) and easy riders were happy, funny and took their job serious. They had much to tell about the local people and background of the viewpoints and other special places.

We were with a small group which I loved because you can meet new people easily and get to bond together with the guide and easy riders.

We would definitely recommend to join this tour if you prefer small groups, good food, nice places to sleep and safety first.
